    I think he is pish aswell but if he got injured they have no one else unless they play Sanchez upfront.

    Besiktas were my Turkish team as a kid but tbh apart from Tore and obviously Ba I knew * all of their current players, half of them seemed to be ex-EPL kids who never got a game in England (Frei, Ozkayup). Their passing was terrible for the most part as well (pitch was shocking) but this Celtic side can hardly far any better in those stakes!

    And I know Turkey's a big country but tbh the 3rd best Turkish club shouldn't ever be better than Celtic, just chastening where we are at the minute :54:

    I'm sure I remember hearing that Turkey is the fifth biggest football market in Europe. It's a huge, football mad place. They are minted and we a poor going by their standards. On top of the financial situation, they have a country of 70+ million to get players while we have 5. Of course they are going to be far better than us in the current footballing world.

    In a perfect world 3rd in Turkey shouldn't be better than Celtic but right now it's a fair bit above us.

    Nope, this is the first time the tournament is "centralised" (so they said at the draw). Hence our game in Iceland being on BBC, not ITV who have the contract with UEFA.
