Protests should be saved for absolutely critical times. Losing by three goals away from home in Europe is not one of those.

Almost going bust in the sack the board era, that is what protests are for.

The club said they wanted to engage more with the fans, a sit down discussion with a group of fans reps is a good starting point.

Now tell me where we have moved forward in a year? tell me where we have improved as a team? The changes in the team is negligent, we have not brought in the quality to move us forward and the result last night is evidence of this. get used to it folks.

Board must come out and have a question and answer with the supporters. None of this rehearsed statements written by a Philadelphia lawyer. If they don't/cannot explain the current situation then something must be done.

I guarantee that whatever the question is the board , or member of the board will be able to answer it . It may not be the answer that the questioner wanted but it would be an answer that would stand up to scrutiny of any independent person .

Right, so it should be a sack the scouting team protest you're having then, not a sack the board protest.

I may be playing devil's advocate but it could be reasonably said that if Deila had wanted he could have picked eleven players who had benefitted from playing together and training together for a year , so the team collectively would have been a lot stronger and better than last year . Last year's team is still very young and developing ?

Within it means?? Please explain. We have more coming in than what goes out. We should be able to buy 2 players at around £8 million. We have a couple of billionaires on this board. Fans like myself are disgusted at how this board treat us. Everyday I get e-mails from Celtic FC buy this buy that. All they care about is making money for their bonuses.

Neil Lennon stated today that the board have to take blame as well for teh result last night. No investment in the team

Interesting, so the scouts have the final say on who is bought and sold and set spending budgets? There's more to this argument than quality of scouting targets/staff.

Protest against the board? Would you rather be in the huns position...

Got to give Deila time.. Like we have in the past..as far as I can see it the board has backed every manager as they will Deila..

Signing quality players then moving them on for a profit is not a bad business model.. Good players will always move on because of our league we just need the right structure to attract them which we have.. Feel this thread is knee * after a bad result.. CL football is where we want to be but it's not our right..

In terms of the GB.. love the atmosphere they create but the GB is not bigger then the club!:shamrock:

No im not advocating a protest in any way, shape or form and my post reflects that. At the end of the day we didnt do that well in last years group stages andevery * knows that so surely a club the size of Celtic must have noticed andput in place a plan to rectify that, the fact they havent (so far) when we have extremely important games that will shape our season does open itself up for criticism.

He could have picked 11 players that wer all together from last year but he would have had them playing a system that they are just getting used to and perhaps not suited to so the result could/would have been the same.

It is amazing how bad out club has became when only a couple of seasons ago we had the likes of wilson hooper Wanyama Ledley and samaras and have seen none of them replace and the blame for that lies at the feet of the board for not spending
