There has GOT to be some backlash from our fans now. We have been sold short once too many times now. From their strenuous lack of spending to the Green Brigade situation, to the persistent lying to fans, to the "Dundee Riots" (specifically fabricated by Liewell), to the scandalous ticket prices etc. etc.

I can guarantee that my idea of a protest is very much a long shot. For what reasons I don't know? Are we too lazy? Do a lot of our fan base agree with the board? Do they believe the suits are * sends? Is our support riddled with oddities? I for one don't know the reason to this.

But I know I have just about had enough of their stringent ways. I wasn't the biggest fan of Neil Lennons management BUT he was short changed to no end as well by Liewell and Co.

Would anyone on here be up for a protest or suchlike?

We got very lucky last season. The lack of signings is a joke.

If you are protesting over that game tonight then you need to take a look at yourself.

You think it's a long shot probably because you know the board won't do anything about it shall it happen

Your idea is long shot because it's a massive overreaction to 1 result.

The board need to back the fans in way of the money spent on season tickets,as well as our basic expectation of quality football and a wee run in Europe. A one off protest might help nothing prolonged but enough to let the board know it's time to let the moths out the wallet.!!!

The board are a joke. One of the biggest clubs in the world, with a healthy balance sheet yet we barely spend a penny.

    * sick of it.

At this point whether you have bought a season ticket this season, a new strip, a Celtic dvd or a Lison Lions tea mug. You have put more money into Celtic this summer than the board has. Name a time and a place and I will be there something has to give.

its not to one result did you not read his opening comment it is a protest of the way the board operates a protest to sky high prices for a game of * football against the pish teams of the spl and a protest against the current signing policy of this boys cheap so it doesnt matter if he is any good as long as he can wear a celtic shirt and take as little money as possible

I didn't quote your post so I wasn't referring to it.

Clearly your decision to make this thread is in response to the result otherwise you would have posted another time, say after the 'Dundee riots'??

If you remember correctly we had only signed Boruc (Gordon) and Zurawski(Berget) when we got beat 5-0 of Bratislava and there were no 'protest against the board' pish etc

I see you completely missed out the other poster who made the same point....ya window licker. :87:

Yes. Not spending money isn't "great" and doesn't help us. "But look the huns are dead"- because they spent like £80million in three years at one point whilst bringing in * all. THAT'S NOT WHAT WE'RE ASKING FOR!! When we lose key players, REPLACE THEM! Wanyama and Hooper still have not been replaced, it's been over a year.

"Existing but not living" is a good way of surmising how we operate. We may not be dead like the huns, but we're hardly living a great life ourselves. We have no ambition, and may actually be deliberately downsizing.

I like Ronnie and think he will do well, but it says a lot that our board hire a manager because they love the fact that they don't have to give him any money to spend. It's grim.

It began already, did you not see the crowds last season ffs.

While people for years were drooling about how great Peter Lawwell was I told them, that it was not Peter Lawwell who has made our club in a good financial state but rather the Celtic Support.

This man came to Celtic when we had 50,000 odd ST holders and a fantastic global support, and he thought it would last forever, even with his penny pinching/bonus mentality.

When Lawwell took over you could find HOOPS all over NY,Boston and Deebo, you'll have a hard time finding one now.

Would this thread exist if we had won?

    It's because of 1 result.
