If you were celtic's scout...

I know the transfer window is closed and there are
three months until it re-opens in Januaray BUT...
I was wondering, if you were celtic's scout, which
players would you recommend the manager to sign?
It can be someone familiar or not, someone from SPL
or anywhere in the world - you choose!
Of course it has to be financially suitable for the club
(more or less) so no Ronaldinho's and such.

 

If I were Celtic's scout I would start raving about the centre forward playing for the local team in Barbados. And I would tell the club that I'd need to see him playing at least a couple of times before recommending that we make a move.

Barry Robson ( He's got everything needed to play at Celtic! wouldn't cost that much! )
Boka (Stutgart LB and Ivorian, quality player! got banned for skelping someone in the nads earlier this season!)
Barzagli ( Palermo CB , Itailan 26 good player, eats up high balls!)
Shorey ( Reading LB, this guy is just class through and through! would cost us a fair bit though!)
I could go on all day! I watch all the football I can, and know of a couple of good players, lol but that would cheer me up seeing some of these guys in the hoops!

I would smack Strachan upside the head and tell him to play Riordan, get rid of Naylor and recommend another LB, but I don't know of any....

i cant give you names but i can give you a plan of attack. i'd be scouring eastern europes leagues and south americas leagues. looking to unearth a nugget before there is a 20 million price tag attached to him.
theres gotta be some nuggets out there, we just gotta find em.

South America is no good as we won't get work permits unless they have played a lot for their country which will make them expensive
