The only dodgy thing about the game is Deila. So far he has refused to play 2 up front which is our best set up and he has played players out position to fit into his tactical set up which has weakened the team.

If he starts 4-2-3-1 I cant see us going through, if he plays Pukki, McGregor or Berget theres basically no chance.

He has got to play our best XI in the correct formation to suit them:

    Forster
    Matthews Lustig Van Dijk Izaguirre
    Mulgrew
    Kayal Joahnsen
    Commons
    Griffiths Stokes

Start like that and if we need to go for it, then he can sub Mulgrew or Matthews or Lustig and bring on Pukki.

I think Emilio will have a huge impact on this game. We need players to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Players like Emilio, Beram and Kris.

Wouldn't stick the domestic form down as any sort of a marker for Europe to be honest.

That was 2 season ago though. The only thing remotely salvageable out of Europe has been Ajax at home. We pretty much made up the numbers in the CL last year.

Add to that, being incredibly lucky to get past Elfsborg & that horror show against Shaktar Karagandy.

All that above. Plus the task at hand. As I said in a earlier post, 2-1 or 3-1 doable. 4-1 no chance. We * it up there and we wont rectify it here. On a small plus side, I think we will win 2-1.

That had * better haha. All might as well have sat in my front room last week. Plus I think the reality is the team and players have been exposed several times as being average at best.

Crowd can go one of two ways. We don't score in the first twenty minutes, it goes flat and get on the backs of the players. Either that, or being outsung by mental Poles. Which is going to happen anyway.

Especially at a half full Murrayfield.

Also regard the posts about us patter of doom merchants from someone else. Yes I will watch the game :smiley-laughing002:

The biggest worry for me is the fact that they will hit us on the break. If kosecki is in the game and they get the ball to him on the counter we might be in for a long night. That guy is absolutely rapid and is up their with the best at running with the ball.

    I think its on.
The odds on Celtic qualifying are around 7/2, and i think that is a fair reflection on the chances!

Its going to be very wet pitch, and they will be very nervy on the ball......hopefully!Early goal, or at least 1-0 at the break, and i can see it happening!

Can't wait for the game now and hope we can do it. Not liking what I'm hearing with the ticketing for this game though. Supposedly the Legia fans have been and are able to buy tickets anywhere in the ground. No proper segregation, sincerely hope there is no trouble but I can see the possibility.

You know, I hate fear-mongering rumours. That isn't true at all. I have Polish heritage, abd upon buying my tickets, I was contacted by the ticket office to check that I wasn't a Pole coming to the Celtic end. The lady told me "hundreds" of poles had done such a thing, but that they had called every one and moved them. That could be the reason the tickets are now unavailable on the internet.

I hope this is the case but that's not what plenty of folk are saying on twitter. Would never happen at parkhead but with murrayfield we have less control of what goes on with tickets.

If you want to believe the fools on Twitter over what a worker at the ticket office said, then, by all means, go for it.

I would hope that if any Polish lads are stood amongst our support then they will be treated well. we have a good rep and many folk may just want to experience that atmosphere. I have been in amongst opposing fans attending both Celtic and Scotland matches, very often on my own.

never stopped me cheering my team ( except at the hampden riot when i was in with the Huns as went with 2 bluenose mates ). I have always been treated well with good banter. If they are here for the football then more power to them.

If our support are now filled with a bunch of wimps who cannot sort out a few lads looking for trouble then it is a sad day. Maybe our support is now made up entirely of keyboard warriors but i find it hard to believe that Glasgow is Bampot free.

we should make these lads welcome unless they start any trouble. Let's show them the respect that the * from ajax never showed us.

I'm not necessarily believing anything, I am just stating what people are saying...and it's not scare mongering to advise people to be cautious and vigilant. Why would x number of people to go the lengths of repeatedly expressing concerns if there was no merit to it and it's not just on twitter. There's no way the ticket office are phoning every ticket purchaser to check their integrity, it's just not feasible.

Anyway enjoy the game if your going :)
