Yeh a mentioned in an earlier post Legia defence didn't look any better than ok. But last night going forward there players were ripping us apart. They looked skilful and fast. There definitely better than ordinary.

Our teams is much weaker because the board are happy collecting millions from Europe every season but not willing to invest.

Forster and Van Dijk will be sold for £8 million each and we'll bring in two unknown free agents the board are dirty smelly *:smiley-laughing002:

Woke up at 3am still * raging haha.

A season with no CL is going to be a killer. But then this was always a possibility with 3 qualifying rounds to get through, was going to happen eventually....

Anyone had a phone call from Celtic today? Got one earlier and didn't bother answering it.

I have it on good authority that Lenny would have stayed had he been allowed to keep Sammy on a reduced contract, however when this was refused he resigned
Point me to where lenny or celtic have made a statement why he left.....??????

However Lenny left, so then what happens, we are linked with Coyle, Moyes, McKay and Keane, all of whom refused the job due to the same constraints that Lenny was left with.
Again where is the statement that celtic or these managers have made saying they turned down celtic.

So you are just taking newspaper bullshit and posting it on here or your good authority comes from somewhere inside celtic or lennon as they must have made a private statement to give you such knowledge.

Our play in Europe is always laboured, even when we're we never really play great attacking football one two'in it and ripping teams apart with dummies and back heels, yet I've seen untold inferior teams (in my opinion) do it to us..

We lack a real spark, injection of pace and creativity going forward.. It always has to go wide to break European sides down, yet we seem unable to.prevent teams slicing us apart right through the middle..

It's common knowledge that Lenny left because he was sick and tired putting 100% into developing a group of players just to see them get dismantled every season. He couldn't be arsed going back to square one again.

If Ronny lasts long enough he too will quit with the exact same reasons as Lennon. And we'll repeat the cycle ad infinitum until a) we get into England or b) the board decide to live a little.

Forgive me for offtopic but I just can't stand reading such a utter nonsense. First of all you should learn some history before you express your opinion. Have you ever heard about Molotov–Ribbentrop Pact: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molotov–Ribbentrop_Pact? Germany and the Soviet Union cooperated in September 1939, they divided polish territory between themselves.

The Soviet Union didn't liberated Poland. It was only a change of occupant. Germany were replaced by Russians. Russians commited horrible crimes in Poland during II WW. Elite of Polish nation was murdered by Russians in Katyn: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Katyn_massacre"]Katyn massacre - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame]. Witold Pilecki, Polish national hero whose story of life you could find here: [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Witold_Pilecki"]Witold Pilecki - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia[/ame] told his wife about Russians that: "I cannot live. They killed me. Because Auschwitz compared with them was just a trifle".

I know that people living in western countries are very biased about communism and it's true nature beacuse they have never experienced life under communist regime. Those who have experienced communist reign know how sick and twisted this ideology really is.

Look, I don't want to debate this but you are assuming people are ignorant of Soviet crimes. Only an idiot would admire the Soviets, rather many of us in the West believe that the Soviets represented not Communism but rather some horrible perversion of it, whatever they called themselves.

Now I don't expect you to agree, but this thread is not the place to debate the point. Just accept that nobody sensible is arguing that the Soviets weren't evil.

Wow well that was a total disaster. I cannot say I was shocked at us getting beaten in the game. But the extent and manner of the defeat that was off the charts. I do not like to jump down the throat of our new manager so quickly but the scale of last nights defeat was on him. The board can be blamed for lack of investment in the team sure. But we kept turning the ball over in our own defensive third and over playing the ball there and taking too many risks and thats is what started the dominos falling.
I understand Delia wants us to really be a possession based side but I think trying to play that way so early on in such an important game was very naive.
