    Are you Polish, mate?

If you are then obviously you have forgotten one very important rule in our country: "leżącego się nie kopie" (you don't kick a lying man). Also, you must see that Legia is still very far from their top form, they lack precision in passing, finishing is absolutely atrocious, they are caught too easily on off-side, the defence is shaky--I could go on.

Yes, I know we are very often better away than at home in Europe, and that we are a counter-attacking team which would seem to put us in a good position before the 2nd leg, but this tie is by no means over.

Before this game I pointed out Legia's weak points and I predicted accurately the mistakes they would make. The only thing I haven't predicted was Celtic's performance.

Legia is not a counter attacking team. 90% of games they play slow and possession in Ekstraklasa. That's cause they have huge problems landing an accurate pass and they make mistakes when the gameplay gets fast.

Anyone got a clip of that second penalty decision. I was half * last night but I am pretty sure if was the one of the worst decisions ever.

That's because they are forced to play positional attack in Ekstraklasa.
No team (with the possible exception of Lech Poznań) could play too open football against them, because Legia would kill them in counter-attack.

Polish club teams, as well as Polish NT always rely on counter attack, because they lack quality to play positional attack (we are not Barca or Bayern). If you look at the qualities and skills (however modest they might be) of Legia players, they are a typical counter-attack team.

Anyway, there's no point arguing about this--we will all observe this with our own eyes soon: Celtic will have to play positional attack in Edinburgh and Legia will counter attack.

From the starting 11 I would've only changed Kayal for the new guy and Izzy in for Matthews but I can see were he's coming from.

If it was 2-1 I would've been confident next week or even 3-1.

Couldn't watch the game due to working late, but on seeing the team these two picks stood out & i thought we might be in trouble. Just seem absolutely bizarre. Think Stokes had a knock but Emilio was fit wasn't he? Sure Thumb was too? Throwing Berget in a couple days after he signed is just ridiculous.

Very poor display by Celtic, the only positive to take from last nights result is that it could have been worst if the two penalties were scored.

However last nights result was not a total shock to me, our board hung Neil Lennon out to dry last season in the CL qualifiers with no significant funds being made available, they have done exactly the same to Ronnie.

No Hooper, Wayama, Wilson cash was on offer, after next week at Murrayfield they'll be no VVD, Forster and Ambrose, we simply can't trust these money men. The Balance Book and their Dividends will always be the most important result for them !!!

The worst thing was, just like in Amsterdam, the players looked like they couldn't really give a *. Matthews, Ambrose, Mulgrew, Commons and Lustig had * awful nights. Their players had more desire and were harder in the tackle, i don't think we won a single 50/50 all night, we got what we deserved to be honest.

You raise a good point. We miraculously managed to expose the * out of ourselves without threatening them. 10 men explains a lot, but no discipline in either direction was the bigger problem.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
When you penny pinch to the extreme, this is what happens,no big time ambition,* this could be our shitest season in decades!!!

That said we still have a chance of getting through, going 2-0 up early on next week is the key.

It was embarrassing and it could have been 7 or 8 scored against us.

    St Pats are our level.

Legia Warsaw look the better team I don't see how we think have a chance they ran rings around us, it was easy for them. We are out simple as. It's a shame as well such a vile club Legia go through white power scum bags that they are.

This next one won't be shown on tv, will it?

Decided last night to go for a meal instead of going to next week's game and just get a pizza hut for the family, whilst hopefully, watching on tv.

I love the blind optimism of our support:smiley-laughing002:
No matter what we do next week I cannot for the life of me imagine them not scoring against us:31:
That wee Serbian guy was like a Lubo throwback, he tore us a new * with nothing but technique:52: the way he embarrassed Izzie at the end was eye watering:47:
I do believe we'll score and frankly we can't be worse but with so much on the line I can't see them letting it slip. Their defence is * but so was ours and being honest I've thought it's had gaps through the pre-season. Big VVD for me hasn't been the player that we know he can be.
Effe was a fucken bomb scare last night.
All that being said if we can rush into an early 2 goal lead it could be on. Strokes, Commons & griffiths need to firing from the off.
I'd love to see a shoot on sight policy for Commons as I reckon their keeper is roped.
We need a good crowd behind us as well.
Ah * it, I'm back on board 4-0 The Hoops:50::smiley-laughing002:

Legia Warsaw vs Celtic (UCL 3rd round qualifier, 30th July. Premier Sports. 7...

Have you even watched the match? Where did you see that white power scum you're talking about? There wasn't a single rasist chant throughout the game ! Not one, man.

Oh, and vile? Where did you observe that foul behaviour of players? Sure Legia has less to offer in terms of history and achievements than Celtic ( which I've been admiring my whole life ) but Id never call Legia vile.

Let's focus on the game, not on insulting the fans.
