I'm still struggling to believe what happened tonight, if that had of been Real Madrid or Bayern Munich then I still would have been * off but can understand why it was always going to be a tough task but Legia Warsaw!!!!!! St Pats drew with them over there and they have no recent track record or expensive signings to boost their recent form.

Truly pitiful and right up there with Artmedia and probably worse.

We were pish in the CL last season, really poor at times, we now have arguably a weaker side, no signings of any note (we can't count that clown up front tonight as one) got in a new manager with no experience at this level from the mighty Norwegian League and do we honestly in reflection expect to improve on last season when to be fair we only scraped in against another team Karagandy that really we should be comfortably beating.

At Murrayfield there seemed to be more effort in the ground by the announcer of pushing season ticket sales and sadly that's what they seem more bothered with, zero investment and talking up a manager on the basis he like to play youth seems to be the Lawell dream ticket....sadly the result of that is having to watch calamities like that tonight.

It was that bad. They were over-running our midfield, and Lustig/Matthews/Izaguirre were even uncharectaristically poor, was one bit in the 2nd half where their winger just walked through the middle of both Lustig and Matthews who were just standing staring at him like a pair a *.

It was chuckle brothers esque the defending, if it was Sevco id still be pishing myself thinking of it. They were all stoating past us like we werent there. Not that they were even good, they clearly werent up to much its just we were playing like we were half sleeping.

That last paragraph is aload of * because there is currently no system in place were a champion will only have to play one qualifying round its two minimum and there is no plans to change the qualifying system

Listened to that he sounds genuinely gutted but has promised us they will give there all next week that's all I ask for now really didn't hold back on the defence either which is good to see he was raging the same as us

Is this actually true? Even without taking into account results this year and next?

If so, that will help significantly. An extra 4 weeks of preparation instead of having to stumble through 2 other rounds. If Deila hadnt had these competitive games so soon then we might have been better prepared

What an absolute joke that guy Berget should never have started the team as a whole were a nightmare forster should have done better with the first and fourth ... we got off the hook with the pens but we looked lost out there the heads were down and we looked utter * ... this was a team ST PATS athletic managed to draw with in Poland there is absolutely no excuse for tonight if this is what we have to look forward to then I honestly fuckn give up that's the worst I have saw Charlie Mulgrew play ever Stokes and Griff dropped for a guy whos been with us 2 days lol I could go on and on I personally think were out not being pessimistic im being realistic we looked utter * and I don't see us winning 3-0 or more. Angry and very disappointed to say the least.

I'll try to be optimistic here and see the glass half full :icon_mrgreen: :

    - Legia are a poor team who only exploited our * poor performance tonight
    - Celtic couldn't possibly play this * again next week

Do you think there's any chance of Celtic progressing?

He is telling the truth. If Vrdoljak didn't * up 2 penalties (one a miss, second a save) it would have been 6:1.

On top of that, Legia had 3 more BRILLIANT chances...it should have been 9:1.

    We were pathetic.

I do agree he does sound upset but mabey he's tried to implement his system to quickly, he's only had a short amount of time and it seems this has cost us , the fourth goal Forster should have came and mopped it up

Aye, I wouldnt be suprised if we beat them 5-0, they arent very good. But we'll need to change our tactics and play 3 centre mids and Commons behind Stokes and Griffiths.

Commons, Stokes and Griffiths played well together and are our 3 best goalscorers. Delia's tactics only suit 1 of them Commons who can play his normal role. So we've * ourselves by casting aside our two other best goalscorers in favour of Boerrigter - who does heehaw, this new guy who done heehaw, Pukki whos really done heehaw and McGregor who for me shouldnt even be playing the now although he's done ok he couldnt lace the boots of Stokes or Griffiths.
