If and it's a big if we pull another Karagandy I'm afraid there's a bigger hiding waiting for us around the corner. Ronny has his ideology and his tactic but he doesn't have the players to fulfil it. The sooner he realises this the better.

Dundee and Hamilton are better than Real Madrid and Bayern Munich anyway

If you watched the St.Pauli game you wouldn't be saying that but again the tactics didn't help in that one either.

    Missed this game, thank *.

Absolute * disgrace. Typical Celtic, not spending a * penny. This was bound to happen, embarrassing result against a * team. Saw that Ambrose got sent off? He can * off whenever he wants, total liability and always has been. People can stick up for him all they want but he isn't a defender. Heard Mulgrew was * as well, that's what happens when he plays in midfield.

    * off. Sad thing is, Ronny is going to be hounded by some fans and the media.

See if we get put out, is that us out of Europe altogether, or can we qualify for the EL?

Because a club of our size should have the resources etc to be vastly superior. Obviously though a lot has gone wrong e.g. the lack of investment in the team.

I didn't see the St Pauli game but I fail to believe even our youngest kids could have been worse tonight. At least they would give all for the cause.

Tony Watt would have been a million times more effective than Pukki tonight.
Henderson, McGeouch, Twardzik all better passers of the ball and far more technical than Mulgrew.

As has already been said, young McGregor was MOTM, and the only one beside Fraser with pass marks.

If the board really don't want to spend a penny then they should just go the whole hog and sell everyone over 22. We should have gave all our youths a chance as soon as Rangers died, instead we let most of them stagnate and didn't buy any better foreigners, except Wanyama and Van Dijk.

Wait a minute, they missed two penalties as well?

    * off Celtic. Laughing stock of Europe tonight.

It was absolute torture to watch mate, haven't felt this gutted since Karagandy.

This was worse. Should have been 7 or 8 to them on the night. No joke :31: :54:

    Unforgivable.

Far too many average players in our team. I've been saying it for a while but Charlie Mulgrew should be nowhere near our first XI, the guy is a utility player who can do a decent job if needed. Far too slow to play in midfield. Ambrose is a poor defender who looks like making a mistake every time he plays.

Have to blame the board though, they've refused to spend a penny so far and this is what they deserve. * joke of a club at times.

Pukki was far from our worst performer. His movement pulled away a defender which created room for McGregors shot. I doubt Watt would have done much better as the service to the front players was crap.

Listen to all you deluded fools ! I am one of the most Celtic minded person you would ever meet. The present custodians of our great club (we are the club ) are happy for you to go to work tomorrow (are you looking forward to it ?) to explain things on their behalf. They are happy to take 6 mil for the games ...look forward to millions of pounds for Forster and van * whilst we manage to sign Ronny;s pal on loan til January (why was he subbed ? ) You see you may get lucky once in the UCL (BYE TONY X) however is it realistic to compete in that competition with the lowest revenue (TV) and zero debt ? GET REAL ! I was actually hoping for a slot in the Europa League...a place where we could truly ASPIRE to be ...but He Ho !

However ...you should ' believe' believe what ?
Well...you better buy your season ticket...because if you do...we might...just might be able to keep pace with the club formerly known as Rangers when they arrive in the SPFL next year like Hitler invading Czechoslovakia ! Head of the front line will be the MIBs

Well Pete hope you enjoy your round today and get your handicap down...Dermot will be expecting a better game from you while the rest of us suffer at work....
On a more positive note..Scotland's coefficient means that SPFL winners will only have one qualifying round to compete in 2017. We should breeze that cos Sevco are 10 years behind us.....aren't they ?

    * happened here? I come home from Maribor's game all ecstatic and check Celtic's result, expecting more good news as I checked the result 15 mins into the game when it was 1:1 and then this shocker...

Those highlights look dreadful, if I didn't know, I would say we played with the defence that played against St Pauli the other night...

If we go out of the Champions League after the two legs against Legia the board will have all the excuses they need to invest zero cash in the squad as they will just be wanting to win the Premier League again. That is all the ambition this board has they just want to keep winning the SPL and do sod all in Europe and not make any progress at all. The amount of money generated by Celtic and recouped in selling players the team should be much better than the below average mince that took the field tonight. Pukki, Ambrose, Stokes, Griffiths, Balde, Borrigter and probably Berget as well are not good enough and are no better than players in our youth teams.

The defending was probably the worst ever, we let them walk into our box about 10 times without a challange, gave away 2 penalties, were passing the ball to them in midfield.

Was a disgrace. Luckily they are a poor outfit, if we done that against the likes of a Braga, Utrecht, Sion, Dynamo Moscow or Spartak in a European qualifier we'd probably have been horsed about 8-1. We almost scraped out with only losing 2-1 before the cave in in the last 10.
