If we can try and put a slightly positive spin on tonight's events, it's nowhere near as bad as Artmedia in 2005 and we almost managed to turn a five goal deficit around that season.

Next week will be tough, but not impossible. Ambrose won't play, which is obviously a positive right from the off.

Whenever a team start to press us we seem to control the ball like 10 year olds. The only time we really kept the ball tonight was when our back 4 were playing side to side passes to each other, which always leaves us vulnerable to a mistake/counter attack when pressed against.

I'm not sure we are seeded in the Europa League play-off, meaning we could draw the likes of Tottenham, Inter, Monchengladbach, Lyon, PSV, Hull etc. This is considerably more difficult when you take into consideration that the board will probably sell Van Dijk & Forster to compensate for lack of Champions league money.

Let's hope we pull another Karagandy next week. Though, I'm sure the Polish fans will be louder than the Green Brigade at Murrayfield...

Radovic reminded me of Lubo, not in his play but his shape of head and old looking face lol

Forster - Should have done better for the first goal but kept the scoreline from being even more of an embarrassment. Majorly let down by his defence - 7/10.

Lustig - Surprisingly very poor tonight. Usually our most consistent performer but it looked as if he's forgotten how to defend - 5/10.

Ambrose - * poor when he was on the field and got a red card. Don't need to say any more - 1/10.

Van Dijk - Was just as * as everyone else. Looks disinterested. * knows where he was for the 3rd goal. Disappointed in him tonight - 4/10.

Matthews - Went on a few good runs but again like everyone was pretty bad. Never a left back, too one footed. RB or RM for me - 5/10.

Johansen - Didn't seem like himself today. Gave away countless fouls and didn't use the ball like we know he can - 4/10.

Mulgrew - Worse performance of the night. Commented on him in other threads - 1/10.

Berget - Kinda thrown in at the deep end, but he was totally anonymous - 3/10

Commons - Didn't play that good but he was one of our better players - 5.5/10.

McGregor - Our best player, showed heart and fight, tried to do something every time he got the ball and scored a cracker. Well done wee man - 7/10.

Pukki - Didn't get on the ball at all, unlucky to be hooked but he was anonymous - 3/10.

Kayal - Tried when he came on but ultimately wasn't good enough - 4/10

Izzy - Was really really bad when he came on. Embarrassing defending for their 3rd goal - 2/10.

    Griffiths - n/a

Watching them goals again makes me want to cry, you'd think van Dijk and Forster are looking for a reason to leave. I would like to say a 3-0 win in the second leg is possible, but our first choice striker is Anthony Stokes

Mcgregor done nothing other than the goal.

Bugs me when a young player plays average and is bummed up because he is young there was no stand outs in that team tonight

Agree with that. Worst performance I've seen from Mulgrew in years.

Overall really embarrassing. Could have been 8 easy.

Positive and negative at the same time that McGregor was our best player. Embarrasssing that a 21 year old showed up his far more experienced colleagues, but yet more evidence of our cracking youth system.

Maybe just sell everyone and promote all the youngsters?

Average yes but that was better than everyone else. He was the only player who looked calm on the ball.
