I have to admit I cheered for Celtic when the Holy Goalie played there alongside Zurawski......since their departure I have stopped reading up on the club. I do follow the EK and after reading some posts on here it seems people have the slightest idea of what is happening with the Polish Ekstraklasa.

Obviously, it cannot compete with the top 10 leagues in the World. But, with new stadiums, new investments and new foreign coaching some things have changed for the better and others for the worst.

As somebody else mentioned, Legia did not sell any players which was a huge deal, because every year prior they sold all their top talent without hesitation and in turn made the team weaker for European qualifications.

The new leaders of Legia are trying to do everything they can to build this team right and they are starting from the youth program. Great news because Legia's youngsters are very promising.

Now, onto the debate Celtic will bring a decent level of play for Legia and I also see a tight contest. Many of your supporters are very optimistic which is fair. But, just like Celtic when they play a * side their game also falls, same goes for Legia. I feel that at home, nobody in the world compares to the Zyleta fans. The atmosphere they create is surreal and will give Legia a nice boost in the first leg.

They were fined several times last year for flares etc and also the SS in the "Boys banner", again that a very small group in the big picture of Legia fans and they had to play games without fans which was unfortunate. On top of that pay a bunch of money to our friends at UEFA MAFIA

About the Squad - Legia has a very deep squad and Berg wants to have two squads of similar strength at his disposition. Unfortunately, not everyone has been healthy including striker Orland Sa who was injured after 15 min in the first match vs Saints. Here's hoping he will be back by the 2nd leg.

Some of you have mentioned, Kosecki and Zyro and of cousre Radovic, but there are several other players that Celtic will find out about. I wont reveal who they are, they will showcase themselves for you guys and you will be in for a nice surprise.

In terms of play, sure the first game vs the Saints Legia was flat footed and three key players were out which ruined the entire game. Luckily, most have recovered and Legia will have a full squad ready for the 1st leg, so no excuses and we expect a physical and fast paced game.

Since the departure of Rangers, Celtic hasnt really had anyone to deal with, whereas the EK has 3-4 teams that usually battle out for the first spot. With more money and exposure, many players around the world are using the EK as a stepping stone to bigger leagues. I actually feel confident in saying that our league is better than yours, competition wise that is. Which in turn will create a very healthy game between Celtic and Legia on and off the pitch. I predict a slight 1-0 win at home and a 1-1 draw away. Some of us Polish supporters are optimistic as well

 Legia will show its world class in the Europa League. I hope that Celtic does not humiliate them too much. A simple 0:3 and 5:0 will do very nice.

We have all the reason to be confident in a victory. Our size and the fact that we have been in the Champions League for the last two seasons is our reason. This therefore does not make him arrogant thus meaning that there's no irony. :bbpd:

we have been in the champions league for the last two seasons but we have lost most of our best players from the year we made the last 16 and we only picked up 3 points last season. We are also missing brown sammy and forrest from that team. But that wasn't even the point of my post. It just seems pretty ridiculous to complain that some legia fan was arrogant for saying they will scrape a narrow victory in the tie and then in the next sentence say they are * and we will hammer them at least 3 0. What does he expect them to do, bow down to us? they're fans of legia so of course they're probably going to predict a legia victory.
