Yes you must, Coman of Rapid Bucharest saved one today, does it make him as good then? Please prove to em that Reina has saved more than 3 pens in the past 2 years (excepting the penalty shootout).

Possibly I could be biased.

And fair enough, it's just luck that has him save one today, but his athleticism and reflexes make him a great asset when facing penalties.

The reason he's only saved a few is because of the great defence, Carragher, Hyypia, Agger, Aurelio, Risse, Arbeloa and Finnan, who make sure he's rarely troubled from the spot. And the penalties against him I have seen, are saved quite a lot.

I still think he deserves to be in contention for the votes.

I was not talking about a persons point of view, I was talking about an athletic point of view, a skill point of view ect. Boruc is better than Reina in every aspect, cathing crosses, stopping shots, 1-on-1 and penalties.

but before that, in Spain, while playin for Villarreal, he saved 7 out of 9 spot kicks faced in his last season there

I said he was better from any point of view yes, but not a persons point of view, a footballing point of view (handling, positioning etc. etc.). I've already explained this once. I think the results of the vote speak for themselves
