    - Mark Henry and Rusev closing out last night's RAW may have had something to do with preparing Rusev for a feud with John Cena soon.

Spoiler from the latest Impact tapings

Brodus Clay debuted and is aligned with Ethan Carter III which could be a good thing because they worked together a lot in NXT, unknown at this point whether this is just a short term deal like Snitsky and Ezekiel Jackson had a few months back or if he has signed on permanently

]NXT star Sami Zayn has reportedly played The Bunny three times in the last two weeks on WWE TV. Zayn has been on the road with the main roster and apparently was the one who frog-splashed Titus O'Neil on last week's RAW. The Bunny was wearing the same wrist tape that Zayn wears that night.

The Bunny also did an impressive move at last night's SmackDown tapings. Zayn worked those tapings in a dark match with other NXT stars.

This does not mean that Zayn will be revealed as The Bunny in the end. At last word, there was talk of revealing Darren Young as The Bunny to continue his feud with Titus.

The idea behind WWE's ongoing storyline between AJ Lee and Paige has definitely been to tease sexual tension between the two. There was a creative decision made last weekend that they want to go further with the angle. No word yet on what they may have planned but nothing risky was done on this week's RAW and it appears the same goes for last night's SmackDown tapings.

With the AJ vs. Paige storyline and a few other incidents like more * language being used and Rosa Mendes being exposed on Main Event, it would appear that WWE may want to do more risqué angles because they need buzz to push the product. However, WWE is still working with Mattel and have promised sponsors they won't ever go back to how they were. It was speculated in a recent issue of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter that we'll likely see more slip-ups and minor * language on WWE TV but not enough that it will attract attention past the wrestling audience.

Raw was absolutely * dire again this week, minus Brock's appearance.

I'll watch NOC on Sunday because the card looks great and Lesnar will be competing obviously, but they need to really get their act together in terms of the weekly shows. I've not been this disinterested in Raw since 2010.

Sounds quite bad, wonder if they will now have to bring Ambrose back early to compete against Rollins in Reigns' place tomorrow night?

that's bad news for Roman hope he's not out too long.

WWE issued the following Roman Reigns update, noting he will be unable to compete at Night of Champions against Seth Rollins tomorrow night:

"WWE.com has learned that Roman Reigns has undergone emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia. Reigns had been in Nashville to promote tomorrow's Night of Champions pay-per-view. His recovery time will be evaluated by the local surgeon and WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann, but he will be unable to compete against Seth Rollins tomorrow night.

Interesting that their new golden boy could be out of action for quite a bit...

Maybe this is the chance for Ambrose to truly shine and stake a claim for his own massive push?

    - As noted earlier, Roman Reigns was rushed to a Nashville, Tennessee hospital where he underwent emergency surgery for an abdominal hernia, also know as an incarcerated hernia. Reigns will miss tomorrow's Night of Champions pay-per-view and the match against Seth Rollins.

WWE physician Chris Amann says Reigns' condition is not related to any in-ring activity. He said:

"Roman has had a pre-existing hernia for some time, which unfortunately had become acutely painful, which led to him going to the emergency room in Nashville. He was found to have a large hernia that was unable to be reduced, which means pushed back into the abdominal cavity. As a result, it was necessary to perform an emergency operation to open up the hernia sac and try and push it back into the abdominal cavity."

Amann added that the hernia suffered by Reigns is different from a sports hernia. Reigns' injury is an inguinal hernia which "can sometimes come from sports" but might also be present at birth.

Reigns has been transferred to a recovery area and is "doing quite well." Doctors will continue to monitor his progress with a particular focus on preventing infection and insuring that his intestinal functions return to normal. He may be discharged from the hospital as early as tomorrow.

According to Dr. Amann, a typical recovery time for a condition like this is approximately four to six weeks, noting that because this particular hernia was significant, Reigns will likely be out of commission for "closer to six weeks."
