Really not good enough, only still getting a run because he's a home grown lad.

He's becoming a bombscare. He can't be the best option especially in the big games, if he is we're in bother and it's something that needs addressing sharpish.

Hes just always anonymous, adds nothing attacking or defensively. Beyond belief that anyone including rodgers thought he would be a better option than rogic. I think even armstrong is better

There are so many better options.

Get rid of Allan and keep this guy? Really?

tidy young player, decent skill, eye for a pass and goal

unfortunately, just not mentally strong enough to be a big player for us.

Can't see it working out long-term

Great squad player for games after the champions league when rotation is needed. Not a 1st team player.

In his time Alan done nothing, failed to break into the starting XI. Wether he was given a fair chance or not, two managers both felt he wasnt up to the grade to play.
Where as Mcgregor has broken into the squad and made an impact.

good squad player, has energy levels and a decent game ..but we need a little bit more in Europe. Its a long season and i'm sure he has a part to play but 'lightweight' is probably an accurate description and he will need to up his game if he wants to play above SPFL level

Far, far too lightweight for the big occasions. Especially away from home in Europe..

Decent squad player and no more it seems..

Worth noting whilst on loan at notts county he was used as an attacking midfielder, where as now he is being asked to play a more deeper role. Lightweight - perhaps. But still not as toothless as Bitton.

Less than a decade ago, Callum McGregor was a Celtic Park ballboy.

Tonight, he'll be watching the Champions League draw to see who he'll be facing in this season's group stage.

"It's an unbelievable feeling," he told BBC Scotland.

"To come through the academy as a kid, watch the big Champions League nights, ballboy at them and now I have the chance to play in them..."

Doesnt really deserve that? And even so, there would be a few ahead of him.

I would happily put some guys like Armstrong and Boyata in the ship out boat with him.

I think it's brilliant for him personally, from being a ball boy at them to sitting on the bench. Great progression.

Don't think he is good enough for us, thought he was poor when he came on.
