Yup another spl team or at best a championship player , we can attract better players than him surely ? Especially now we have a high profile manager , champions league football and hopefully 2 or 3 million to spend !! Nows the time to get rid of the average players (and the crap ones ) and bring in a bit better quality, we've already seen the difference 3 or 4 new players have made so far !!

    Agree completely.

He's a decent SPFL player, but not Celtic class.

We can't go into the groups with him in the midfield.

Might sound harsh to some but it is the truth. Squad player for me, at that level.

Even a squad player...you have to be able to trust a squad player to come on and at least hold their own. I don't trust him to do that at CL level.

Definitely not good enough for CL group stage football.

Mr Invisible in Europe I'm afraid, particularly that CM role.

He's a decent squad/backup player to have domestically though against the poorer sides. Can spot a pass and keep play ticking over in MF in games like that and can pop up with a goal here and there.

In saying that wouldn't bat an eyelid if he was moved on either.

WHY anyone ever rated him as a Celtic player in the first place is mind-boggling. If the last few matches hasn't corrected your incorrect opinion, then * knows what will.

....don't know how many people will call him 'anonymous' before every other * will eventually tire of saving him and standing up for him.

Plays * in EVERY meaningful game I've ever witnessed, other than that meaningless goal against Ajax.

    * his penalty against skintco, and ever since.....has looked like a reserve player, who is out of his depth, playing in the first team.

His first team place is both embarrassing AND mind-boggling.

Zero good performances since Ajax (and one half decent goal, does NOT make you a first team Celtic player i am afraid).

Beggars belief how Rodgers thought he warranted a start tonight.

He was utterly invisible tonight. How he and Janko weren't hooked at half time is beyond me.

I think he goes invisible quite a lot of the time.

Said it before, but, if we are playing well and on top he is ok to have, when the going gets tough though and the quality of opposition steps up as a result, he goes missing.

Ok , but too lightweight for Europe. We need better.

Struggle to understand what any manager see's in him.

The type of midfielder we can't afford away from home in a game of any importance. I don't think he touched the ball in the first 25 minutes.

He plays because he has the speed and stamina for Rogers' pressing game.

Did the job asked of him really.

Good enough for where we've been the last couple of years but not good enough for where we want to go. It's that simple really. At least one, hopefully two, quality centre midfielders are needed now.
