Didn't follow his man at 2nd goal.

Bitton will be in instead next week for sure.

Decent squad player, good enough for playing against Kilmarnock, Motherwell and the rest of the SPFL *, definitely not good enough for the CL.

Nonsense. We had a good spell when he came in last year.

Think it was just a fitness problem with bitton which is why mcgregor started, expect bitton to be our first choice in the middle from now on.

Thought he played alright tonight, not as bad as some are making out, hate to see a player just raising their arm though for an offside, such a lazy thing to do.

Thought he was good in the first half, struggled in the second when they flooded the midfield, as did everyone.

    Right decision to hook him.

Had high hopes for McGregor. Not doing it though. If nothing else though, it may have given Bitton something to think about, the challenge for the first team seems to have brought him on. Keen to see him at full fitness.

Wouldn't really say he is a passenger, especially due to the fact that he has carried the team in Europe before

Didn't do enough for me. Isn't doing enough for me..

Good squad player and I do like him but he's too lightweight for that role..

Passes it well but that's about it. Too lightweight for me.

It's fine in the SPL because we have 70% of the possession, but when you need to win the ball back in Europe. We need Bitton in there for physical presence.

Aye I said this in here before.

Good player to have when all is going well (e.g. First half tonight) but when the going starts to get a bit tougher I don't want him in there.

Thankfully brendan didn't hang about when it was clear he was just a passenger !! But lets be honest the damage could have been done but we got back on track ? I'd rather give our manager a pat on the back once he stops picking the boy tbh !! No disrespect to the player but this thread will run and run until he's no longer involved in the big games that matter , hopefully after tonight that'll be the case !!

    * am I reading? McGregor had a brilliant game. He was everywhere before he came off, kept it nice and simple too. Bitton slowed the game down in comparison.

Biton slowed the game down at exactly the right time.

McGregor came off for a reason I feel, Rodgers could see the game changing.

Yeah Bitton did well when he came on. Calmed things down a bit and kept the ball well.

Like Ajax at home last season?

McGregor deserved to start but didn't play well and was hooked. That's good management.

He most certainly did not have a brilliant game.

You think we could have started with that intensity with Bitton beside Brown? Not a chance.

Agree than Bitton did well when he came on though.

What the * was he doing for their first goal, just strolling back in to the box when there was no other Beer Sheva player around, should have doubled with the cb so he could make a better challenge without the fear of him cutting back inside.
