Maybe, that he's possibly the best we have, but even 5 years ago I'd have been happy to have this version of McGregor as an option. He's different

aye he isnt a player you can say is a stick on for one position, but he is a great option for that midfield for this season, as i said he is no chance a wide player or number 10, but he can pick a pass and has an eye for goal

I think his task this season is to really nail down a first team spot. I think he's capable.

Last season he did well to get himself back in Ronnys plans.

Part of a midfield 3 he's a very good option I think. Not much defensive side to his game but he still works and can bring the ball forward on his own and pick a pass.

Ronny tied him down to a 5 year deal didn't he... Great business.

One of the best performers last season imo. I think we looked a better midfield with him in, and Brown out.

This young guy is a bit of an enigma to me.....I'd have him in my team before Johansen for sure....he's capable of some really good goals but I think he'd do pretty well if he could learn the job that Lenny did for Celtic by breaking up the oppositions play as he seems to have a great engine.

I think him and Allan are good at what they do but I think they need a bit of understanding of the roles the could play.

I think we really need to find two mid fielders in the same ilk as Lenny and Lambert when they played together and I feel McGregor would fit the bill as a player who could disrupt the flow of other teams.....it needs discipline.... but I think he'd relish the role and the chance to be in the team regularly.

Thought he was fantastic tonight, especially first half. Everything went through him.

I picked him as my surprise player for this season, I honestly think he will nail down a spot as long as he can keep his consistency up.

He doesn't try to be a flash *, he just takes it into feet, moves it on and ghosts into space for the return. Always looking for the little reverse pass or * over the top to the strikers and failing that having a pop at goal.

    Cracking player, love him.

Great first half, not so great second. I still think we look a better side with him in there though.

Great movement compared to others, should definitely retain his place was also unlucky not to score a couple of times.
