    Don't rate mcgregor at all, goes missing far too often. Credit where it's due though he has had a decent past few games.

    Pretty raging that he got the armband today though, in the words on Andy Tate "Not worthy of it".

    Folk saying he has been decent the past few games are downplaying how well he has done. He has actually been one of our better players this season in my opinion. He gets a lot of unwarranted criticism I think. He has outperformed the likes of Bitton, Brown and Johansen this season, that's for sure.

    I also do think he goes missing in a lot of games, in the defensive role, I don't think that is for him.

    Possibly out on a flank, maybe behind a striker, but he'd be sub at best.

    I still think sometimes he gives the ball away cheaply, but can't say he never puts a shift in, seems to be busy on the ball, but just no involved enough for me off the ball.

    Great to see him doing well, I think he could well turn into a regular in the next few seasons. Great to see a few lads from the academy in the team to, tierney, mcgregor and I suppose Forrest althoguh hes a bit older now.

    Completely agree with this. He can pass, move, has got good positioning and he's got an eye for goal! Hope he continues as a regular stater next season!

    Starts as our first choice holding centre mid based on this season IMO.

    I think he's turning into a cracking player, neat and tidy and is a goal threat. Very rarely makes mistakes.

    If Johansen and Bitton were sold (as they may well be) i wouldn't be too upset as McGregor here seems a more all rounded option than either of those two.
    With the massive potential of Ajer we could be sorted for another few years to come in the midfield positions.
