    So you don't rate McGregor's last few games? 2nd best for us against Ajax behind Tierney and the Inverness game where he was good, 2 goals in 2 games and also helped create our 2nd and set up several chances.

    Like I said he's useful. He works hard, his passing is ok, he can beat a man and he's got a good cross on either foot. He's also a goal threat.

    Lets not pretend he's a winger though. Ronny needs to stop moving central players out wide.

    See tbh, nah not really. He was alright- average. He wasn't actively *, unlike most of his other appearances. Maybe that's why it stands out a bit.

    Brilliant goal against Ajax though.

    Yeah that's the point, players aren't going to perform as good out of position like Armstrong and Commons. I'd rather start McGregor in the middle than Johansen just now, pretty sure every fan would prefer that.

    He is seriously under estimated on here . Has tons of ablity and will be a terrific player. Has the agility and technical ability needed at the top level.

    And at that time, they were doing well. I think that's the reason he was out mate. RD has obviously seen something, either a dip in form, injuries or an extra push from the young lad and he's done well when called upon. That's all that can be asked I suppose.

    If he continues like this he'll have a very good career, despite being quite average IMO. He's not a typical Scottish central midfielder, more technical and comfortable on the ball. Looks for possesion play and is a goal threat. He'll be there for Scotland as first choice midfieldee in a couple of years if he just plays like that in central midfield. He does it very averagely but it is useful.

    Not the type of player Scotland is used to.

    I just don't really rate him as highly as others, it seems.

    Nobody was crying for him to be back in the team at any point a few weeks back. Similar to last season, he's playing well at a time when nearly all of our main players are playing below par and is managing to standout.

    I had high hopes for him coming back from Notts County though, I must admit.
