Callum McGregor

He got it because of only two * performances and because his contract before was a youth player contract basically.

I am sure there are some clubs in the championship that would need a player like Callum. I hope we sell him in the summer.

 

I don't rate him but hopefully he gets a good move in the summer, will do a job for the likes of Dundee utd or championship teams.

 

He's gone off the boil big time. He shown promising glimpses at the start of the season but as time went on, his form dipped more so.

I noticed as well when he would come on from the bench, he seems quite arrogant looking in his expression. I don't know why, he's not playing well at all.

Best thing would be to send him out on loan. No point selling him because he's been poor for the past few months. I still want Guidetti to sign despite him going about 3 months without a goal. McGregor is obviously not in the same league as Guidetti but I'm willing to give him a chance.

 

at a game in november i was sitting in the very front row of the jock stein stand and he was warming up about eight feet in front of me and looked far more interested in catching the fans attention for a wee applause than anything else.

 

Not giving up on him, his form has been poor but he was the highlight at the start of the season.

Deserves more time, has scored 3 goals in Europe, we like to give up hope on Scottish players quicker than imports.

I've never understood that mentality, people have written Mulgrew off too. Both are good squad players.

 

I dont rate Mulgrew that much but I know his worth as a squad player. I just dont rate McGregor at all playing for Celtic.

 

I know he's been poor but at 21 we can afford another year under Ronny to see if develops.

 

Much rather use that game time other players or even youth likes Thompson and McMullan. I would´t be against a loan move for McGregor though, but my preference would be money.

 

That and the fact he probably just isn't good enough if being honest

 

He looks like the lovechild of Dave Chisnall and Bert from Sesame Street.

 

He's suffered a suspected broken ankle in training. He's out for several months. That's his career over.

 

Unlucky injury, and unlucky for us in terms of ever getting a fee for him if we're honest.

 

Do all young scottish players go to the same * barber who just buthchers the sides and back to a 0.5mm ? * shocking.

 

Feel sorry for the lad. Horrendous age to pick up that injury. Was never going to make it here though.

Broken ankle is a fairly routine recovery , should be back on the bench by Halloween .

 

Shame for the lad.

 

Played well again today, has played well when he's come on in all the games this season. I was raging with him last season starting every week while playing average but he has got a yard quicker now and he is technically sound. I would try and get him loaned out to Dundee Utd.
