    I'm not picky.
Yet another really poor performance from McGregor last night. I was starting to change my mind about the lad at the start of the season with him starting so well, but he's just been nowhere near that these last few weeks.

Think it's time he was really put to the bench and Forrest gets a start over him now.

To be honest, Forrest done more in the 25 minutes he was on than McGregor did in his 65.

I've actually never seen a bigger shitebag in a Celtic strip, shites himself at every 50-50, just a bottle merchant of a player, really starting to get on my * as well. He's been pish for months now.

I've stated on numerous ocassions this lad will never make the grade for us. If he ever was good then that ability has soon evaporated. Offers us absolutely nothing. Should never have been on the park last night

There's a player in there. Yes he is not playing well just now but with the right coaching Mcgregor will go far he has all the attributes just needs more confidence.

Some of the comments here are * shocking. Anyone who cannot see the quality this lad has needs to seriously question their actual knowledge of football. The guy started off on fire this season, like a young Scottish Lampard and showed immense quality and a knack of getting into the box and killing teams with his well timed runs. Ok, so he's not playing well at the moment but for heavens sake he's still a young lad and still learning his trade.

As for the *-bag comments, what nonsense he isn't a tackling midfielder. It's this "doesn't win 50-50's" attitude that keeps Scottish football in the dark ages. He's an attacking player and is productive in and around the penalty area. Don't remember Iniesta, Silva... or if you want to put a Celtic spin on it Nakamura, McGeady, flying into 50-50's. Nah! Such a lame way to criticise someone, not only lame but * lazy too. I don't think we'll always see the best of him stuck out wide because he's not a guy who uses pace to run the by-line and whip crosses in. He's not even a guy who runs at people. He's best at quick passing and getting in dangerous areas. He's a subtle player who'll definitely make it here.

Can guarantee this time next year the comments in this thread will be laughed at. Just like the comments about Ronny, Johansen or anyone else who's been criticised for no reason.

Agreed. As I said previously the boy needs a rest and remember he was our shining light at the beginning of the season or has everyone forgot that. He will/should be a star with us especially if he develops in the manner he should at Celtic.

McGeadyfan - I would love McGregor to prove most of us wrong. I've been in the game a while now and have seen loads of McGregor type come and go. Your NOT young anymore in football at 21 yrs old. Football is a short career. I'm called a veteran at 33

Most proper coaches will tell you footballers aren't fully developed until they're 23/24. There have been plenty of footballers in the past who've struggled at 20/21 and then turned out to be world stars just a few years latter. Also being played out wide and lacking confidence hardly makes any judgement of him accurate as they'll be skewed towards him not being good enough. While a few months ago he looked like a new Celtic hero in the making.

Yeah yeah heard it, we have all played at a high level. Your post is about you trying to kid folk on you are a player but incidentally this is about McGregor who will be a player for us if nurtured properly.

Nothing about me being a footballer. My point is that there have been loads of similiar players that have been there before like McGregor who have never pushed on.

He's not a winger. Looks lost on the right.

came back from notts county having played as a proper attacking midfielder scoring goals for fun and showing lots of creativity . Has devolved into a lazy , disinterested winger. He has been completely mismanaged , its painful to watch

100% with all of that, he is getting played out wide and being wasted, thing is Ronny is not going to play him in that role because of Johansen.

Think Ronny's problem with that is that he tried him there against... inverness I think? And he was worse than gash,
