Callum McGregor

Don't think he's good enough to be honest, far too light and cant really see what he brings to the team.

 

He seems to be getting progressively worse throughout the season. Maybe he does just need a rest, or maybe his confidence is gone. Either way, he needs to be dropped; there's no point in playing someone who isn't going to have any impact on the game.

 

Yet another EMPTY shirt performance........not good enough for us. He should be sold or benched.. Griffiths ran his socks off and should start ahead of stokes now.

 

Was terrible tonight at lest we have forrest back

 

Seemed like we were playing with 10 men. Living off his first couple of games.

 

Nowhere near good enough for the first team.

He hasn't put in a good performance since August.

 

A wee spell in the development team please. He's doing my nut in tbh.

McGregor has missed just 2 of all our games this season.

 

I feel sorry for him in the sense it's not his fault that everyone but ronny can see he isn't good enough to be playing for Celtic..
In 5 minutes of Forrest coming on, he'd held it up and forced a free kick, beat a man and also played a lovely pass across the outside of the box with outside of foot and shoulda had a free kick and forced a yellow card from officials who were a disgrace tonight..

The difference in class is miles apart and i don't rate him at all, does nothing going forward and even less defensively..

 

Wasn't great but a lot of folk are being harsh on him. Don't want him in the team personally but tonight he had an alright game.

 

He needs dropped, and needs a kick up the *. Baffles me as to why Ronny started him ahead of Forrest who has had two good games recently. I don't understand our managers decisions most of the time.

 

Can only be because of rushing jamesys hamstring but you have to ask what did mcgregor do to shift what Tonev put in in the second?

Mcgregor must be lionel messi in training..

 

He's done * all since signing that contract. Forrest should've started tonight alongside Commons.

 

Forrest didn't play that much better than McGregor and (sorry, but) Commons, who is generally speaking a good player, should lose weight least 15 kilos to play at a high level.

 

That's a fair point about Forrest. I, along with many others, were desperate to see Forrest come on, especially after their full back got booked early on. However, he didn't get into the game, and any time he tried to beat the full back, he either ran it out, or the winger come back and doubled up on him, and snuffed out the threat.

 

Is he playing well ?...no he clearly isn't, but I'm never going to overly criticise the lad while he is being played out of position at right wing, be like playing Broony upfront and then complaining that he isn't scoring every game.
