Stokes signed a new 3 year contract in October last season.

Scoring 1 goal in 21 games for club and country, between the start of October and start January.

Like you say though, the goals were firing in from all angles as soon as he signed the new deal...

 

Found the actual date Stokes renewed his deal at Celtic, 29th October 2013.

So between 29th October 2013 and 5th January 2014, Stokes scored 1 goal (in a 5-0 win).

He has the best technique, touch and best at keeping the ball and rounded off with a 10 million player but it's ok i won't argue as Ronny agrees with you

 

I think C. Mc Gregor is a very good prospect , but we are approaching a situation of over praising him and making him think he is far superior to what he actually is . A spell on the bench or even out of the squad altogether may work wonders for him . At the start of the season Mc Gregor scored nearly every game by getting his shot on target the instant he got a chance . Now he is taking careful aim and is firing narrowly wide or just over . He had the winning of the game yesterday if he had just shot the ball at the goal instead of trying
to place the ball into the top corner .
Calum is trying to score the super goal any type of score will do us .

 

I'm not saying he is a £10 million player just now but in about 4 years he will be and yes i believe he has the best touch and technique at the club, can you only laugh at this or have you got a point to why that isnt the case? I assume you dont.

He isn't the best at the club at anything, don't be silly..

 

By the end of the season you'll be believing me, hes arguably been our best player so far this season and you can see him growing more and more in confidence give it time and he'll prove me right.

He's the best right now at taking the ball in those little pockets and creating an attack and taking people on down the right wing if he could add a bit more to his end product he would be in the top 3 first picks in the team sheet

Macgregor is a very good player, especially for his age. he uses the ball well and doesnt waste it often. put this into context- a player at his age, coming off the back of a loan season in a much lower league, scoring vital goals, putting to shame far more experienced and expensive players at the club, all whilst playing out of position at a time when our standards have hit a decline.. £10m? why not in two or three seasons?

I do rate the little man, all kidding aside but some do have the blinkers on in my opinion..

For instance this he doesn't give the ball away line, he does quite a bit, either trying to beat a man or by shooting and being greedy/wasteful..
He's been off the pace slightly for a few games and i would be.inclined to sit him out tonight for wakaso possibly cutting.in from the right..

I genuinely do think he's a talent but talk of him being the best in the.squad at a.variety of attributes are well off..

I take no great.pleasure in i told you so's but he has a terrible first touch amongst others and gives the ball away loads..

His touch and performance wasnt great tonight but it has been basically every other game sometimes you have a bad game these things happen.
