Only player worth praise after they two legs, hope Ronny keeps him in the first team and gives him a lot of game time.

Looks like he'll be a feature of the line-up this year, looked like he had something play for when the rest of the team didn't bother very hard. Hope he continues to impress and develop.

Reminded me of Forrest when he broke through, good brain on him, pulling off nice little one-twos and cute passes, attempting through balls to stretch defences, etc.

Not a pacey player but seems to have good acceleration and great balance.

Let's just hope he doesn't go the same way as Forrest with injuries.

3 in 5, looking good wee man! What height is he btw, looked like Kayal was towering over him when they were celebrating :56:

He's the only positive thing of the season so far.

He has taken his chance brilliantly. Makes you wonder why the * we never had him in the side from jan last season when his first loan spell was up.

Chuffed for him. Ronny has been brilliant giving him a chance and McGregor has done extremely well to take it.

He really does look like the perfect replacement for Commons. Attacking midfielders with a knack of scoring. McGregor has a better touch as well and a bit more pace.

Get wee Henderson in beside him and I'll be over the * moon.

Wee guy has been fantastic - not playing sensationally, but has been getting involved and taking his chances.

Great future ahead of him I think....

dont think wide left is his position to be honest.

tonight wasnt one of his better games but he did grow into it in the second half and really came alive once commons went off

Certainly looks the part although tonight he was as quiet as I've seen him for us so far.

Still got a goal though and had a couple more digs from outside the box.

Maybe not the most rounded player, I think we're all seeing there are some aspects of his game he needs to work on.

But i really liked his performance tonight. Going past people, playing one-twos, getting shots away and rewarded with a pretty fortunate goal.

Great example of what the loan market can do for us.

Atleast he's scoring. Don't think he does very much though, he doesn't get into the game enough but he'll improve the more he plays, should probably be coming off the bench for now though.

3 in 5 mate, we can't afford to have that on the bench. :smiley-laughing002:

If he gets played in Commons' position I think his overall performance will improve. Too slow to play out wide.

If we can keep Forrest fit and if Tonev looks good when he plays then McGregor must start in front of Commons, not only is his first touch much better but he is outscoring him as well.

Long season though, lets see if the lad can keep it up.

Commons first touch is so * bad though.
