Was excellent play between him and Commons, he rushed the shot and volleyed wide.

Doesn't matter who we make chances for, whether they are strikers or not. I prefer our goals coming from all areas of the pitch.

We're playing well, on another day we'd have taken four or five off them.

I'd like to see Stokes dropped for the next game if we are going to continue to use this formation. He isn't cut out to play by himself even against a side as poor as the one we played today.

I thought Griffiths had a good second half but he is wasted on the wing, get him in the central striker spot.

The problem on hear is that people post stupid posts , and expect us to believe them . The excuse of sarcasm is a very good ploy .

    Job done.

For me, it was like a 3rd round Scottish cup tie away at a lower league side, always felt like the goal would come eventually. Will be forgotten quickly, so not going to over-analyse.

Promising signs in the formation, I don't think the wide areas is where we need to be strengthening, I see plenty of encouragement there, but we still need a quality striker, centre half and 'number 10' for me.

griffiths had actually been our best player in the second half and looked like the only player out their willing to take a chance and try and create something. I was very disappointed deila took him off when he did.

You see encouragement in the wide areas? We played a striker and a CM in those areas.

The only time we looked good in the wide positions was when Derk came on and I don't need to tell you what we could possibly expect from him in the future.

Two wingers are an absolute must for Ronny.

alot of people saying mcgregor played well but aside from the goal I can't remember him having one positive contribution. He was constantly playing the ball backwards, slowing down the play, and not creating anything. From what little I've seen of him in the friendlies and the game today I can't say that hes ever impressed me.

Pretty much sums it. Unlucky not to get more, hit the tin work 3 times and Commons missed a couple.

Disappointied with the lack of movement and creativity, first half in particular.

On the upside, it was nice of the home fans to chant my name throughout the game.

We are effectively playing a 4-3-3, with the front 3 moving around, Griffiths played on the right but popped up on the left, Commons was found ahead of Griffiths / Stokes in the box a few times with Stokes dropping deep and collecting the ball as well.

We are trying to drag defenders around and create space for the full backs to bomb forward, which Lustig, Mulgrew (when used there), Izzy and Matthews are all capable of doing.

Forrest to come back as well and Derk needs a chance to prove himself now he is fit.

Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't complain if Arjen Robben fancied a crack at New Douglas Park, but I just think we have greater need in other areas.
