Yes we did what we needed to do, and there were a lot of positives in the second half... it's all a learning curve.

Does anyone know if we're in the market for other players because we need to strengthen. I know finances are tight but if we can make the CL, we've basically won :celt_2:

I thought Mulgrew was out best player tonight actually, better than johanssen anyway. If this is the formation that we're going to continue with I really think we need another striker, stokes although a very good player, clearly isn't cut to play up front on his own. Would be worried if we went into another champions league campaign with stokes as our number 1 striker, assuming we would only start with one up front in all of the games.

It's nothing to do with the opposition, he's played in midfield plenty of times. I just don't like him there at all.

Surprised at the Mulgrew comments, didn't have a bad game at all from where I am sitting. Decent run out and good to see the McGregor get a goal as well.

    Buzzing for next week now.

Good urgency when we didny have the ball is wasnt for long. Was a frustrating game but im feeling positive I think on another day we would have scored 4 or 5.

Substitutions livened things up IMO. I think it was an alright performance, all things considered. Happy for the wee man McGregor and thought Johansen played well, too, was my MOTM.

Must have been watching different game from some. Too many short, square and back passes. Derk and to certain extent young McG showed what could be achieved by going down wing. But as for Johansen, apart from diagonal balls out to right wing, thought he slowed game too often. Far too many short passes in congested areas and got a mouthful from VVD towards end where his lack of awareness allowed them to have a great chance. He just doesn't play with enough pace for me, slows everything up and just doesn't like to shoot on goal. He is ideally suited to sit at the back of the diamond and against a team like tonight's is not needed in the lineup.

Was delighted that Deila had the balls to take off Stokes and Griffiths. Maybe they were not fit but it was also not working and he noticed it. Lennon usually left it later to change it.

2 of the 3 you mentioned are not strikers which is my point. And I don't remember stokes missing a chance.

Alan built it with his own hands.
