    Cheers mate

I can assure you that there's a decent chunk of the Everton support where the feeling is mutual

It's not unknown for an Evertonian to also support for Rangers like, but in general I'd say more of us have a soft spot for The Hoops over The Gers

The song "Royal Blue Mersey" reflects that I feel

Going the match on Saturday between Everton and Sunderland

Not sure what to expect to be honest

If last saturday was evening to go by, the Everton players look to already be on the beach

Unfortunately every support has its bellends.Royal Blue Mersey is my favourite Everton song.
As for the Sunderland game, hopefully they pull their fingers out and have a strong finish to the season starting Saturday.awful season

I'd like to see Besic get a full 90 minutes to be honest

Martinez will play Barry though and will probably stick Lennon on the wing *sigh*

I don't think anyone minds Everton.

That's the biggest problem with your club tbh.

Would be great to get a full 90 from Besic,he's got a big role next season.Think Martinez will go with Barry again though. We need the hunger that Besic brings to the team, something we have massively lacked this season.
    Glasgow_Bhoy88 is spot on unfortunately

John Carver not sure if he's taking the * or not:
Newcastle's John Carver: I'm the best coach in the Premier League

John Carver says he is the "best coach in the Premier League", despite leading relegation-threatened Newcastle to only nine points from 48.
The 50-year-old was asked to take over as manager from Alan Pardew at the end of 2014, but the team have only won two games under his stewardship.
Newcastle are two points above the drop zone having lost their last eight successive matches.
"I still think I'm the best coach in the Premier League," he said.
"If I have the right tools I can do the job. I'm doing the job to the best of my ability."

Maybe not instantly, but I think that will be a great player for them.

If ever a manager could represent the delusions of the supporters of Newcastle...

    Switched to Everton vs Sunderland.

If Sunderland can get a point it drags a few teams further into this battle.

    Big save from Pantillimon, there.

Sunderland well-organised but pretty blunt going forward. They have Wickham on the left, who's just a battering ram. Defoe playing slightly to the right and Danny Graham as the main forward.

Sunderland in front. Hopefully they hold on and Pulis & co do a job on Newcastle today.
