"Jamie Lindsay" is such a horrible name, for that alone he will never make the first team.

That's your opinion. Seems a nice enough name to me.
Also, I could care less if he was called Hitler McSash as long as he's a good footballer.

Honestly couldn't care less about this game. It was our U19s vs a strong Spurs side in comparison. The result means absolutely nothing.

    I'm not picky.
I was watching the game, and some reports say it was Jamie Lindsay that scored, but it was actually an own goal by the looks of it from Fryers I think it was. Was decent build up play as well, and a good initial 1st shot by McGeouch.

How did you come to support Tottenham then? Surely if you are going to glory hunt, you at least pick a team that wins things. :smiley-laughing002:

Or is the 5th place trophy enough?

Who told you that the coaches at Celtic said he was too small. Did you read it on the Internet or In MSSM . Even if Celtic got it wrong with one player it wouldn't prove anything as every top club releases players who go on to good things .

i think some of you want to take your rose tinted specs off, just a tiny few, the rest are facing up to facts.

    1) Some want Rangers to die, but what nonsense. Don't you guys miss the celtic vs rangers. It is/was the only big game in scotland worth watching. Celtic are going to cakewalk the league, no problem. Because of the sky cash in England Celtic can not afford any decent players anymore. They can no longer compete on the World stage. Spurs are a very classy team but they can not compete with the likes of Man city/chelsea /man utd/ aresnal with their billionaire ownership. I support Celtic, my mum was Scotish but living in England , my family are are all Spurs (my dads team) whilst being fans of Celtic. A few on here need to be realistic and accept that scotish football has past its glory days. Celtic will not improve until they have access to the cash by joining the EPL, but that looks years off, unless sky make it happen. Get real folks, its not that i am an arrogant so and so, it really is just at it is, but for a few, then they will never see it and be ion a permanent cuckoo land

Away and stop talking * ya roaster!

When folk start the Celtic playing in the English League pish they lose all credibility in my eyes, it's not happening end of and moreover I don't want it to happen.

It's posts like yours that do English fans no favours.

Go back only 18 months and we were in the knock out stages of the CL with our not very "decent" players while the likes of Man City were already eliminated with their billionaire assembled team.

Frankly I couldn't give 2 bob for your pishy views or any other condescending English * either.

Last time your club won the English League it was on black and white telly :bbpd:

What bullshit we were just in the champions league last 16 2 years ago and we will be again. These things are cyclical and right now we are on the downward part of the curve but we'll be back in the last 16 again, almost certainly before you lot will.

Some of us are Celtic supporters no matter what.

We don't need glory days (and certainly don't need the huns) to justify our love of the club.

Take yer spurs, yer EPL, the huns and roll them intae a wee baw and... well you know the rest. :50:

Candyman We love you Celtic (we do)
We are where we are at the moment because of circumstances outwith our control at present, however that control will come back around.

In the meantime we will always stand by our club as were the best fans in the world.

Let me assure you if Spurs, Man city etc had to play in the Spl you'd be lucky if you got 15,000 fans at games. If on the other hand we were in the Epl we would need to rebuild the main stand to an 80,000 all seater to meet the demand every week.

Looks like Ronny's really pulled one over on us. Think most of us believed he'd have our team scoring lots of goals. :52:

    1) R*ngers DID die. They are currently burning in * as of the year 2012. The club in the Scottish Championship are NOT the same club no matter what spin the media put on it.

    2) How much cash has Spurs splashed in the last, say, 5 - 10 years and where has it got you lot? We have nowhere near the budget you lot have and even when Hun FC were alive we were still winning trophies. Cash doesn't guarantee success but it does guarantee glory hunters.

    3) * off, you *.

Pointless exercise but i hope that no one that played yesterday plays in the 2nd leg...aye ok it was a friendly but getting tanked that bad would kill anybodys confidence!

Ambrose sent off again? Two matches in a week .... Must be some sort of record.

EDIT: have no idea why I've quoted you Vinnie lol

Just a few bigoted responses in reply to my pervious post, as expected. I am sure the more reasoned celtic supporter agrees to an extent on what i had to say.
The Celtic support is fantastic, no argument. It would so great to see them in the EPL. It would enable Celtic to buy decent players and then the fans would have a team to match the support. Celtic need Rangers , the fans need Rangers. To the few ante what i had to say, can you imagine a season not in Europe and without Rangers. I mean what is there to look forward to. Come on now, think about it sensibly. You can not compare the players of Spurs with the Celtic players, it is unfair to Celtic. Hooper and Wanyama, Mcgeeady were the best and have struggled in the EPL.
I saw an excellant article yesterday from Chris Sutton on Celtic and where they stand at present. Some on here should read it. Of course he is an Englishman and so far some just because of that, everything he says will be treated as ****, such is the mentality of a few.

Fair point. It was on the internet mate. Think it was the BBC website.
