What's his problem? Does he have some kind of conflict with the club that I've missed? Any time he's asked his opinion on us it's generally negative. A case in point, the gossip column from the BBC today:

Rival Norwegian boss Kjetil Rekdal, in charge at Valerenga, says Deila is "an insanely good manager". (Sun)

And former Aberdeen striker Arild Stavrum says Deila is Norway's "Special One". (Daily Express)

But former Celtic striker Andy Walker describes the imminent appointment as "underwhelming". (Various)

Is it just his mopey faced dour personality or does he genuinely have a dislike for us?

He seems to have fallen into that mindset of 'must slag scottish football to make a name for myself'. Its as though he feels its required to appease his employers. Rather embarrassing. An honest opinion would be respected more than constant bashing.

Don't really listen to him or read what he has said so just pick things up from forums, chat etc. To his credit he is one of the few that hasn't been afraid to call the zombies a new club but seems to overly negative when it comes to us. Not sure if he thinks he speaks for the Celtic support but I'd say the majority are happy with the appointment of Deila over the likes of Coyle, Keane, MacKay etc which are at odds with his opinion.

We seem to have ex-players in the media who are constant negative towards us where as the huns and the zombies seem to have the opposite, 'pundits' who always stick up for them. There has to be a happy medium somewhere in there.

 

I'd of happily agreed with this if it was true but it's not..

You only have to have heard him commentating on a dundee united game this season, plenty of well over the top wanking going on, that is fine but not when he's slagging or putting a negative spin on anything celtic related..

This thread was designed for my hatred to spill over, i'm out before i talk too much about this bitter little man..

 

Walker was a really good player for the club but as a pundit he's * brutal. You only have to listen to his views on cheating in football to realise what a tube he is.

 

Pathetic wee mongrel. Have nothing good to say about him.
