Agreed. When you take into account 14 of those games listed for Lennon were against teams in the Champions League group stages & beyond and also domestically there was far greater competition.

  2. Gutted for him and gutted it didn't work out for us, I do genuinely believe he will succeed at a club that doesn't demand instant success in everything and isn't pretty reluctant to change, just think this job was too soon for him and he'll need to go in to his next job willing to work his systems around their players until he can bring in who he wants.

Absolutely the right thing to do.

I'll have no hard feeling over his departure either. Decent bloke, and he was only here to do a caretakers job until such a time as Rangers Version 2.0 entered the SPL.

    I wish him well.

Where does he go from here?

I can't picture him getting any sort of meaningful job in England. People down there still don't know an awful lot about him.

Championship maybe? Or back to Scandinavia?

The stats against Barcelona tell me that we were dominated the full game, our keeper played a blinder and we managed to sneak a win on the counter attack :smiley-laughing002:

Twitter Rumours : We never know whats really going on behind the scenes, Mowbray was shafted by a clique of players.

Half the professional footballers ( EPL and SPL) are as thick as *, but with an overwhelming belief in their own importance. Look at the dicks at Chelsea with Jose M and more recently the antics of the twats at Villa. All on lucrative and long term contracts. Nothing would surprise me, and you cant * them off sadly, all on very nice contracts.

Hail Hail Ronny, ya daft handsome *.

Shame it didn't work out, but I'm sure there's things he will have brought in to the club that will remain - especially at Lennoxtown. He has the right ideas but just can't seem to get results in big matches. Wish him all the best in the future.

He'll still be very highly thought of back home, which is where I expect him to land his next job. Wouldn't surprise me if he actually gets a job at Rosenborg or a club as big as that back in Scandinavia.

Look at Neil Lennon for example. He was a big success here during his tenure, then went down south and ultimately failed in his role. He's now no doubt thought of as a poor manager down there, where as up here he's still very highly thought of because of his achievements in Scotland.

Will be the same with Ronny back in Norway and maybe Scandinavia as a whole.

Forget back home, his CV is hugely impressive. In Scotland and Norway.

Multiple national Title winners don't grow on trees, as we'll find out shortly with some brutal named being linked to us.

He's won trophies at both clubs he's managed, he wont struggle to find another job. He's got a bright future, not many managers who've won league titles in two different countries at 40.

He won't manage another club in Scotland, and nobody in England will touch him.
