Agreed. We have a bunch of fearties except those two, add Brown too.
I was shocked when Lenny left, didn't see that one coming.
I had no bones to pick with Lenny, well no major bones anyway, and we had continuity under Lenny. It was madness to destabilise Lenny by forcing some unknown Norwegian manager on him as his No.2.
That is where all our current troubles stemmed from.

Karagandy is something that always gets flung in Lennon's face.

What would you give for a Karagandy, a Helsingborg, Spartak, Barcelona?

The guy is born for the Celtic job.

Bring him home for * sake, end the madness.

Lenny is someone who can't function anywhere else anymore. Plenty of Celts had the same problem.

His biggest redeeming quality is his passion, and he doesn't have the same passion for anyone else.

    Bring the man home.

Who's with me? Imma set up a facebook page, Lenny for Manager 2.

I think Lennon would only come back on his own terms. That is, with a bit of money to spend.
We don`t know the full reasons for him leaving but I suspect it was definitely something to do with his frustration with the 'development projects' signing policy. Something he wasn`t that good at actually.
What's changed that would see him back ?

    * sake Sean, Lenny is not the answer.

Originally yeah - he steadied the ship. He brought the thunder back and gave us one very good season of CL football. With that said we were definitely declining as a team and as a manager he had plenty of shortcomings. The thunder was almost gone by the time he had left.

    Never ever go back.

Sort of how I feel about it. I liked Lenny(most of the time) but maybe it's best not to look back.

I wanted Clarke when Lenny left.
I still want Stevie Clarke, still my no.1 choice for the job.
Think he would be a great fit with us.

Clarke has a far better CV than Warburton.

Not as a manager he doesn't. Sacked by West Brom and Reading.

    How exciting.

No he doesn't. Clarke as a No1....zilch. Warburton...took unfashionable Brentford from Div 1 to Championship playoffs in 2 seasons. Using his own dosh, he travelled around top Clubs learning the trade - previously gave up his job on Sock Exchange. Started at bottom with youngsters and moved up the ranks, until he was offered Brentford. Sad to say Gers have one of The up and coming managers. Ignore his age as he's only been doing it for last 10 years.

Just because he's the huns manager doesn't mean you can't admit he's not a bad manager.

He did a great job at Brentford and whether we like it or not, he's doing a good job at the huns.

All queuing up to stick up for Warburton FFS :smiley-laughing002:
I must have a struck a raw nerve somewhere.
Regardless, Clarke would win plenty with us manager, of that I am sure.
If Lenny can get us to the Last 16 of the CL, so can Stevie Clarke I woudl wager.
I would take the rap for Clarke if anything went wrong, which I doubt would anyway.

Hardly sticking up for him, just pointing out that you're talking *.

I'd rather we got a manager who didn't just get sacked by a mid table Championship team.
