I have never made a banner in my puff, but I will be spending Saturday doing so. I know a few people who are doing the same for the game on Sunday. I don't think I can get a big enough banner to cover our problems though. :54:

leaking the new Celtic top for next season, that should be on the boycott list for a very start, no one should be buying any kind of club merchandise, the blacklash should start from Sunday

Starving these self serving * of money is the only thing they understand, the cash cows should be saying no more

There has to be some way we can structure a contract that would be attractive to prospective managers. We give incentive/performance-based contracts to players, so we should be able to do the same with the manager.

In the English Premier League, guys like Koeman, Pulis, Ranieri, Hughes & Sanchez all earn less than £1.5m per year.

We apparently pay Deila £300,000. There's no reason why we can't offer a manager £500,000 with a big bonus if they qualify for the CL group stages.

Obviously the money on offer for players is just as big an issue as their salary, but we currently have a group good enough to win the title and we shouldn't be far away from CL qualification with a competent manager.

It seems that some people are under the impression RD was the automatic choice as manager when Lenny left. As far as I was aware Lenny approved/was to work with RD as his number 2, however Lenny then decided to leave and as it was unexpected/short notice the board had little option (time) but to promote RD to manager. This also explains the lack of RD having his own backroom staff as well, although that is something that should have been rectified last summer.

Nah, we had time to talk to folk like Roy Keane. Nobody else wanted the job at the time.

    Aye :56:

Still, That is a list of good, experienced managers that were willing to go and work at smallish clubs, albeit they were lured by the Premier League and the big budgets they would have to work with.

There must be some decent, experienced managers who'd fancy a crack at Celtic, even now.

buy nothing from the club and do not renew season books until deila is gone along with the biscuit tin. but getting people to not renew will be hard enough especially with people entertaining the newco coming up. we know there not the same as does everyone apart from them but we need to ignore that and get our own * sorted and soon otherwise we could well be in trouble next season.

i know people give all this * about ending up like deadco ....but we wont will we? simple we dont use EBT like they did keep the wages above board and there is no issue, whatever we bring in by euro money and player sales should be re-invested wether it be 50% or 75% of the income then so be it but this strategy of projects doesnt always pay off its nothing more than a gamble.

Reading that he has to stay until the end of the season minimum. (STV dunno if that's trustworthy or not)

That was what had happened though , RD was to be the No.2 to Lenny (?) We might have some time but it couldn't have been that long a period of time.
While I would have 'backed' keane, I was glad he never got the job at the time.

Someone from the club need to come out and clarify the situation. Keeping us in the dark is not acceptable. Hopefully we can show them that we will not stand for this by not turning up on Sunday.

Was a couple of weeks at least.

I didn't want Keane. Couldn't have been worse than Ronny though.

The board is spitting at our faces by keeping this impostor in charge

I understand the budget restraints we have and that was always factored in when judging Ronny.

Had faith last season, we were good in the latter half and reached the last 32 of Europa.

Blind faith this season. We have been poor in too many games and didn't win one at home in Europe. That has never happened before. I still believed he would turn it round, just give him time.

Lost all faith after League Cup semi final and Aberdeen games.

Blind faith restored again after thinking we need to be patient, he just needs time and we have to take the rough with the smooth. If he wins the league we should give him CL qualifiers before judgement.

I've lost all confidence now. Ronny spoke of passing football. We got out passed by a team with players who wouldn't get in our team.

His team sheets and substitions are questionable. Players out of form always getting a game, even out of position. Allan not getting a run. Players having a terrible game not being replaced as soon as it's obvious. At least two players yesterday should have been replaced before half time. Just like so many previous games this season the fans all seen it and then in the last 20 minutes Ronny might see it. It feels like a metaphor for his time here.

Too many transfers have been questionable too.

The most disconcerting thing is we don't know which Celtic team is going to show up. The one who played Ajax and Fenerbahce or the one who look like they don't want to be there. (One consistent exception is Kieren Tierney.) He motivates himself because he knows what it means to be a Celtic player.

We know this team can play good football, we've seen them doing it.

That questions his ability to motivate. I think that could be related to his handling of the pressure that comes with managing a club this big. He's transfering this to the players.

Should we replace him right now? I honestly don't know if that'll be good for the team or not so close to the end of season. If we lost the league with a new manager Ronny would probably still get the blame. I would gamble on keeping him till end of season. It could be too disruptive and it might look uninspiring to prospective managers if we sacked someone 8 points ahead at this stage of the season.

It's really sad because he genuinely has a great philosophy and approach as he demonstrated in Norway. Just needs to learn his trade in smaller clubs I feel.

Keane would have been a good no.2 to Lennon.

You can guarantee that there would have been no * about it in that dressing room when it came to match day.

That's one of my biggest gripes with the current board. No communication, no clarity and beyond that no sense of direction or leadership. It's beyond poor tbh.
