If and its a big if we lost on Sunday he would be replaced in the summer, not before, unless its a thumping we got.

Anyway that's not going to happen, so positive thoughts between now and then and lets see them put in their place on Sunday HH

 

The team would be absolutely slaughtered from every angle of the media in this country - they are undoubtedly cheerleaders for our demise on Sunday. If they get what they want, would it be even more ammunition against us if we sacked the manager in the following day(s) after a hypothetical defeat?

Personally he'd be out of the door before night fall on Sunday IF we were to lose though.

 

He should go even if he wins the Double.

The League is mere certainty, and the Scottish Cup, in the bigger picture, isn't all that important to us as a club. Where it really matters in Europe it's been an absolute disaster. How he survived the 2 embarassing defeats to Molde I'll never know.

I just can't see us getting through 3 Qualifying rounds under Ronny, we'll more than likely make the same mistakes again this August if we stick by him.

 

Agreed. Get behind the man and team. Decisions will be made in the summer, let's not look beyond Sunday.

A most sensible post, over 38 games for us not to win the league with our vast resources compared to others would be ridiculous. The cup can go either way but we have had a decent draw and have a good chance. The league cup perfomance in the semi was a disgrace, the performance in europe was a disgrace. Seriously why anyone wants him to stay is beyond me it really is. If he loses on Sunday its all over for him, if he wins the double he might just stay on.

 

Common sense as usual. all the fans need to support the club, team and manager until the end of the season. Win all that we are competing in and review things during the summer.

 

I wanted him gone as much as anyone after the Molde losses. However, considering the situation we are in as a club, who could we really get in to replace him that would do much better? It's a risk.

I'm a firm believer that managers need time. Now, I'm fully aware that he has had quite a lot of time already. However, if we bring in another guy, then he'll want to have a bit of a clear out and we will have a new squad that will take time to adapt etc etc and then when it's all supposed to come together, what if we're still * in Europe?

I don't have much faith in Deila, but it is in our best interests to give him another crack at the qualifiers. Maybe, just maybe, he has learned from his first two failures. Our away performance against Qarabag is the kind of steely displays we need to be putting in to qualify. * the "we'll score more than them" mentality. It's not working.

If we get to the group stages, then you can try and be a bit adventurous and attempt to get us to the last 16 your way. However, the qualifiers are a totally different kettle of fish. Do or die.

 

Insanity. Not only has he not learned but he has shown either he is not capable or has no intention of learning. If we had the Barca front three he might do okay. We dont though and he is never gonna out smart another coach anyway so we need a proper manager in and asap.

Think things could be pretty positive next season with Ronny here. I would liked to have seen him bring in his own assistant and coaching staff, I just don't know exactly what Collins brings to the table. Think, despite the current standard of football, once the deadwood is let loose in the summer we've got quite an exciting young team here with the capability of playing good football. I know we all want instant success and things to work immediately and it hasn't this season, but I do still see a lot of potential there.

Something really bothering me in the build up to this is the amount of contempt that a lot of fans are showing for Deila.

the Huns slaver all over their * manager, yet all we seem to do is insult ours. Whether you like it or not, he's our manager going into a match against the scum. * SUPPORT HIM.
