In my opinion he has had his chance, and we have regressed in the last season. Season tickets will still be sold because of the obvious reason, but I think that there would be more unity in the support, team and board just now if he said he will step down at the end of the season.

This gives us time to source a replacement and start rebuilding for the qualifiers. Saying this, losing the chief exec (Lawell link with Sunderland) , and replacing management is a big change especially considering share price and how this would potentially fluctuate if this happened.

Those willing to give Deila another crack next season seem to be an online phenomena. Haven't spoke to anyone in person who subscribes to that view.

Seems to be plenty of unity after every away victory. The Lawwell link is the best the lazy tabloids could come up with in the run up to the huns game.

Conversely this all consuming hatred of everything Deila appears to be an online phenomena because despite holding reservations the majority of people you speak to face to face have a far less aggressive edge to their opinion on Deila and the team. Especially now we're all but home and dry in the League and folk can stop * their pants.

    'hatred' :56::56::56:

More like an honest appraisal that we have hugely regressed under his stewardship and have been humiliated in Europe.

    Clown, *, *, numpty.

All names regularly levelled at our Manager. If that isn't hatred then what is?

Granted the people dishing out the personal stuff can barely write their name but regardless, there's plenty of personal abuse aimed at him.

So much will revolve around the outcome of this game on Sunday.
If we win and go on to win the double, then I think it is a cast iron certainty Ronny will stay and get another crack at the Champions League, third time lucky ?

If we lose on Sunday to our traditional rivals, he will get pelters from the press, media and a significant section of our support, and his position will be more problematic then.

I really dont know how people can still back deila, winning the league is expected and to be honest he has made hard work of it. Europe has been a downright disaster- not one notable victory over 2 seasons. Failure to qualify twice for the premier competition beaten by teams that went on to be whipped in the groups. Sticking solidly to the same formation and poor quality signings- there have been positives- a double last year and maybe this year to. Some players have improved immensely but for me he isnt the right man- to many poor results and lessons not learned. Change is badly needed- i dont know any celtic fans amongst my friends or family who want him to stay. He has done his best but i think he falls well short of where we should be.

Everyone I speak to calls him dielia smith better at cooking than managing. When the huns are all praying you keep your manager you know he's *.

Hard to have traditional rivals that are four years old. A club supported by those who supported our traditional rivals maybe?

There are plenty on here wanting him gone and a new manager in place that don't need insults....but there is also plenty on here who just downright insult the guy with 90% of their posts.

I want him gone but he is the celtic manager and i still give him the respect he is due until he is replaced.

There is no need for words like...*,*,*......when talking about anyone at celtic.

So if they hired some random boy from a pub in bridgeton and appointed him as our manager you would automatically back him because he happens to have been appointed the Celtic manager?

Not cutting it and not being good enough is a constant it does not matter if it's Ronny Deila or Ivan the painter from down the lodge.

Why defend someone just because they are in a job if the fact that they are in that job is/will hurt our club. I dont respect him in a professional sense so why should I fake showing respect to him just because he is the Celtic manager. That is crazy.

I would like to see him leave in the summer as we have not progressed since last year and the thought of him being in charge of CL qualifiers does not inspire me at all. Hopefully he will leave on a high having secured the double.

He's going nowhere and will cling to his "dream job" and I dont blame him. He will never get a gig like this again unless he really knuckles down over the next 10 years and learns the game properly and rebuilds his reputation from scratch.

I doubt it though he just doesn't have it. I dont know what the level is like in Norway but for a man who played the game professionally he really lacks the basic understanding of the fundamentals of football. He doesnt have an ounce of street smarts for the game at all. None. I find this incredible. I also get the feeling that he puts his success down to his own positive outlook and if he continues this it will all work out. This might be fine on a hippy commune but it will get you eaten alive in the bear pit that is Scottish and to an even greater extent European football.

We gambled on a horse and lost, there's no point chasing the money back. Cut the * losses before we lose the shirt off our backs.

Ronny won the double last year and to be fair I didn't think we would/could beat Malmo with the squad we had then. Not many qualifying teams would have beat Malmo over two legs I think.

If he wins the double again this year, and I know that is still an if at this stage, then I think he has earned the right to stay on in that case.

I am trying to be fair here. A new manager would also have enough of his own problems and baggage of their own.

Listen, just because im not running round here calling him *.* ect does not mean i want him to stay.

He comes across as a nice enough person and its childish and a little hun like to be calling him some of the names getting used around here.
And yes i will support anyone in the managers seat until the point where it becomes clear they can not do the job.....that's what fans do is it not.

Ah so you're one of those I would rather live on my knees than die on my feet kind of people. I cant help ye with that and I actually have no problem with it either but why the need to interfere with genuine fans who have genuine concerns? You probably wont like my condescending tone but you are at me on here all the time and I will fight fire with fire. There is plenty of up Lawwell, up Deila folk on here that I treat with respect because they are not * digging at me every second of the day like you and your wee buddies.

Criticize manager = not faithful through and through therefore hun.
Ask pertinent financial question = not faithful through and through therefore hun.

Now CQN write an article with reference to Souness and EBTs, away over there to get your opinion on it.

    You've lost me.

I was trying to get away from the usual Rangers, Sevco trap/claptrap.

I suppose I should feel honoured my posts get so minutely dissected for hidden meanings.:smiley-laughing002:

    No hidden meanings.

    I'm a straight shooter.:50:

You seem to be missing the point.
Attack the manager and the ceo all you like, asking questions do not make you a hun...but try and do it with a little class and stop using words that you would find on most hun sites when they talk about our club its players and also its fans.

You spend all you're time name calling and insulting the manager the ceo the board and fellow fans because they do not use the same language as you're self.
But just because i don't want to run around calling people at celtic * or * or even *...does not mean i do not want the same things as you and the same changes.

And you wonder why people attack you and you're posts on here....but then we have been over this again and again and if you toned it back you would lose some of the attention you crave.
