I don't think for one second there would have been much furore over the selection of Commons ahead of Rogic today, plus.......isn't he just back from injury also?

We have only conceded 2 goals in 8 games. For a team that has shown serious defensive frailties at times, that isn't bad going. Think Sviatchenko has made a difference. Definitely been some progress defensively as the season has gone on.

I didn't get on the first train home as we ended up going for something to eat, but the people on my train seemed happy, too happy actually, they had to be warned about their "bad" singing from the transport police a few times. :smiley-laughing002:

Of course supporters still have concerns, and supporters are divided with opinions but today our supporters, regardless of their views on the manager, showed their support and appreciation for a vital 3 points. The supporters also instigated the Ronny roar by putting out their hands.

We've got 8 games left, I've got concerns, many have, but mulling over concerns changes * all. We need unity and positivity at this point in the season. Lets get this double and worry about the overall situation once the league is done. :50:

Nothing would * you off more than our supporters backing the manager?
    Very good.

Considering our supporters put out their hands to instigate the Ronny roar - ye should be furious. :smiley-laughing002:

If it's justified then yes, it's great to see people backing the manager. Nothing worse than a fickle fan who jumps ship to ship.

As I said earlier, he was bailed out by a moment of brilliance. The Ronny roar was cringey as *.

Glad you enjoyed the game KDawg, away games sound brilliant anyway but it must've been amazing when that goal went in :50:

It's ok to be concerned though, it's only natural for fans to be worried about poor performances. It doesn't mean a lack of support for the team. We wouldn't even bother watching our games if we didn't care. We don't expect to be the best in the world but we do expect a certain standard and if we don't let our thoughts known then the management might think it's ok to settle for less.

To be fair, Ronny did admit that the performance was poor, though he was delighted at the finish. He's not settling, but he had a right to show a little excitement today.

Thats a big positive unfortunately the goals are starting to dry up at the other end as well. I think it was always on the cards when we were so dependent on the thumb for our goals.

The bolded really can't be emphasized enough. They're a tendency for some here to jump on anyone who still has concerns with the usual "why can't you just be happy" pish. It's * ludicrous tbh. You can support the team, be delighted about today's result, and still be concerned about recent performances and our long-term future under the current regime.

The mark of someone who doesn't really support the club isn't raising these concerns, it's being apathetic about them.

He's here until the end of the season, at least. Ye think its unjustified to back him until then?

Our support instigated the "cringey as *" at full time mate. :smiley-laughing002:

I'm still buzzing from the goal mate. I have a lot of concerns about our club, but in a weekend were Aberdeen get beat and we go 4 points clear, I'm going to enjoy the feeling and worry about our manager/players/board/pie problems when we need to. :50:

Apathy : the feeling of not having much emotion or interest in something/someone.

An apathetic person is someone who obviously wouldn't go to games? watch games or give much of a * about Celtic?

Is it the apathetic fans or the happy clappers who cause aw the bother? I'm getting confused. :smiley-laughing002:

Agree with the bolded. They also wouldn't go to the bother of voicing any concerns.

Neither causes bother really. I'm just highlighting that having concerns about the direction of the club, and raising them, shouldn't come with the suggestion that you're less of a fan. Afterall, why would someone who was apathetic about it all raise any concerns in the first place?

I think you've mis understood me. I was referring to folk on here when I made the comment about jumping on the band wagon. Nothing wrong with celebrating a victory though. The Ronny roar was still cringey though, hence why it's received a mix reaction

It should have been a Rogic roar today, Ronny never earned one.
