I always thought that he was just using that as an excuse and leaving anyway, but imagine you're right, him an VVD ? We * that right up.
For me. Sammy and ledley would have stayed if the contracts were right, and could have potentially kept hooper for a wee while longer.
On the contract front, we're generally terrible.

Sammy could have, would have and * should have stayed , in Scotland. Don't think there's any question he was happy here. He was treated all wrong.

 

The buck always stops with the manager, but I'm personally disappointed with the attitude of some of our players right now. If Ronnie goes I want some mean * to come in and give these boys a roasting. They need to realise what playing for Celtic is about. No heart or fight for the hoops, not good enough. Whoevers to blame, something needs done.

 

Samaras served his time but I think people are looking through the rose-tinted glasses . He definitely had the ability but his application was often found wanting, which is the very problem prevalent in our current squad. It was time for him to move on.

As for Ledley I'll never be convinced he was going to sign. By his own admission the contract offer was on the table for weeks and he stated he was "going to sign it". What was the delay then? Why leave it to the final day of the transfer window without a decision?

Ledley was a brilliant player but he forced Celtic's hand, it was either take the £600k or risk him not signing & losing the guy for nothing in 16 weeks.

I've said this a few times since last night but I put that down to Ronny, he had just absolutely crucified one of his own players for going into a tackle, a perfectly good tackle, and being sent off.

They're carrying out the managers instructions. It leads to the lifeless performances you are seeing out there. All these wee things add up to the absolute * you're seeing out there just now.

 

what is playing for celtic all about these days ?? we no what it means to fans like each other, but to players picking up a wage no matter what, playing in front of a half empty parkhead every second week, playing under a manager who has not got a clue, and shows no heart or desire in wanting his players to carry out his instructions, the whole thing stinks at the moment.

 

Ronny, the board and 3/4s of the team can honestly get to *. the board has no ambition with this club whatsoever, We have honestly been * 95% of this season

 

I am not delighting in his failure, but as a season ticket holder I am devastated he is still here, right from the beginning of his tenure, when he dropped griff and commons for pukki and berichter, it was obvious he was clueless, below are some of his quotes, he is honestly seriously deluded, he believes his own publicity which is very dangerous.

I believe he should be sacked now ! Who would come in ? In the mean time would we become worse ?
I can't see us playing worse than we are playing now. As for who would come in, someone who reads the tatical area of the game. We need a manager in for the last few games to get a read if the players for the upcoming CLQ.

I also don't believe for a second that the board haven't got a list of potential targets on their desk. The dogs on the street new ronny wasn't up to the job back as far as December.

 

We don't need a brand new poll every time we lose a match or don't get a great result.

He HAS to go. Its that simple.

He's yapping in the papers now about how we are low on confidence and that's his responsibility and blah blah blah.

His only responsibility at this point is to resign and take them two chancers with him.

Let's wait and see how we do against Morton. No doubt there'll be another poll asking "what about now?!?!" if we don't scud them 6-0 and play Scott Allan for 90 minutes.

 

It would be interesting to compare the results after each embarrassment though but I agree there is nobody left who wants him so there is no point of a poll as everyone wants him gone.
