Honestly, Michael Owen is head and shoulders above Boyd when it comes to commentary.

At least Owen can string a coherent sentence together. His main downfall is that he has a voice made for silent movies.

Boyd is just * terrible though.

 

Nobody compares to the horror show that is Jim Beglin.

 

The fact that Boyd works for Celtic doesn't necessarily mean that he is putting forward a false opinion. I'd imagine if you were told to lie you wouldn't talk about it at length but he certainly did.

 

No club employee is going to publicly bad mouth another club employee it's as simple as that. What this does tell us is that Boyd was probably asked to back him and even if he was not then he works with him and see's him about the place so is going to have some bias anyway.

 

You have been told repeatedly by someone who see's the back end and is privy to data you genius detectives do not that we are not the same person. I do take it as an insult because it insults my intelligence but it makes you and whoever else either trolls or simpletons.

 

With all the pundits, fans, ex players and even commentators all on Deila's * atm, its more than possible that Boyd was wheeled out by the club to support Ronny.

But to label fan concerns "hysterical"... he needs to choose his words more carefully and realise who he's speaking about.

 

Owen's main downfall is the stupid * things he says. Some of his comments this season have been * gold. I genuinely think he's at the wind up.

 

Personally, I trust NONE of the things that comes from a man who's regularly on CelticTV when it comes to this matter.

So back to the none ronny topic of celtic tv and tom boyd.

 

That's probably true but it's still a jump to say that it isn't his real opinion. I agree that he may have some bias but so does everyone and that's why it's an opinion.

 

I dont think it is his honest opinion. I think he is defending a colleague in public.

Completely disagree with Boyd's view, and not for the first time either.

Deila has such a long road ahead of him to convince the Celtic fans he's still the man for the job, and it should ultimately culminate at the Champions League qualifiers once again. We need European football at the highest level.

 

He's better out on the training pitch than he is in the technical area.

 

lawell must think celtic fans are stupid to fall for a cynical ploy like hiring a well liked ex player to spew out his * .I feel bad for Boyd having to come out with that pish ,why tha * does lawell bother with the spin doctoring instead of admitting he's * up again.get ronny to *

 

That would take Lawwell admitting that he is wrong which isn't happening anytime soon, you couldn't give him a brass neck with a * blowtorch, but aslong as he wheels out wee punchlines about that mob some fans will swallow it whole

 

I don't blame Boyd for taking the 30 pieces of silver. He knows that we know what the score is. Very few will be fooled by his prepared speech bar those who want to believe it.

Tom Boyd is a company man and has been for a while. He's not going to come out and assassinate the job Ronny Deila is doing whilst Celtic are paying his wages. I don't suppose I would either if I was in his shoes.
