The Ronny Deila Thread

Discussion in 'Ex Players' started by Glasgow_Bhoy88, Jun 6, 2014.

  1. Hypothetically speaking if Aberdeen do win the league, and who would bet against them ? McInnes would be in the reckoning for the Celtic job.
But I think Ranger's long term plan is to replace Warbles with McInnes.

i'll tell ye what, if McInnes was our manager and he had an identical run that Deila had, he would have been gone in six weeks! :smiley-laughing002: I expect the normal hostile responses but we all know it's true!!

Being stuck with the Norwegian Kenny Shiels or McInnes, if i had to choose between the pair, i'd take Mark McGhee

  9. My view is well documented on here. I think the players have chucked it for Deila and results and behaviour on the pitch is now showing that. The players have seen what has happened to Stokes, Ciftci, Scepovic, under Deila, three strikers all loaned out, two of them signed by Deila himself allegedly. The squad will be disturbed because of that.

If Deila is allowed to stay the league run will be horrendous. The only thing that might save us is Aberdeen collapsing, but I wouldn't bet on that. The Aberdeen players will be prepared to run through brick walls to win the league and to do it for McInnes, I don't see our players prepared to do that for Deila.

That all being said, that is why I think we will lose the league, unless there is an immediate change.

If Ronny was the sheep boss and got pumped 5-1 at home to St Johnstone he'd be a laughing stock..

Derby County didn't waste much time in sacking Paul Clement. Main reason was style of play and players not performing to their best ability. This sounds like us at present.

I agree but they are in uncharted territory and pressure can make a team react in a way that cant be predicted so i do hope that they implode. Of course we have to assume that they wont. Getting Brown and Mulgrew back at this time is massive for us.

Don't agree with your 1st para, but do agree about the "running through brick walls" and unless there is a change (of attitude) we will lose the League. A great example of how to play the game is to watch Leicester City vs Man City. Band of Brothers, Don't let your team mate down and enjoy playing.

  17. That is now over three months unbeaten in the league for Aberdeen. People keep saying can Aberdeen handle it and handle the big occasions but their players are doing it.

Teams in form generally win leagues.

You're imaginative Venglos, it's very impressive. The way you dangled McInnes in front of us like a tease then said we weren''t getting him because he's going to the Deadco instead. And he can get players to run through brick walls. Unlike Ronnie! Bet we can't even run through a stitch. I'm totally gutted :smiley-laughing002:

If Ronnie was the sheep boss Venglos and OG1 would be drooling over him.
