Players aren't turning up on the occasion and showing no fight. Deila needs to realise that and change it.
Don't even think Brown would of made much a difference.

 

You THINK the manager must have had a shoe string budget? Don't you get any information at all? As a norwegian who reads norwegian media, I obviously know a lot more than you do. Deila has virtually no money to spend, so he HAS to buy/loan players that he thinks represent good value to money. And you would think that a player from the Man Utd/City-ranks (Blackett/Boyata) would fit that bill.

What do you think another manager would bring to the club, that Deila can't?

By the way, to put things in perspective: Molde was a better team than Rosenborg, who've beat teams like AC Milan away, Real Madrid at home, Dortmund away in Champions League.

Of course you're entitled to expecations - but seeing it from outside, they are way too high. Just like norwegians still think their national team should be nr 2 on the FIFA-ranking again.

He has been changing it all season and everyone that comes in keeps making the same mistakes over and over again.

He hasn't got it mate, it's time to accept it.

He wanted Boyata and he got him, he is * dire.

He also spent a lot of time in Manchester before coming here and we got Blackett. Dire.

He cannot set up a defence.

That might wash in the SPL but we keep getting embarrassed in Europe.

He cannot get another crack at the CL qualifiers, we keep getting embarrassed by the teams we regulary come up against in these qualifiers.

Enough is enough.

can someone post on a a fresh thread, a list of ronnys signings ??? im at the stage i feel he is coaching the good stuff out of players, GMS, Armstrong, and a few other look like they are going backwards in terms of ability as football players, and lets not forget the commons argument over in molde, that seems to have been forgot about.

 

You don't get it at all. Our expectations are pretty much to beat teams who's transfer budgets we outstrip many times over - it's really isn't too much to ask. Deila has had plenty of opportunity to do so but has failed consistently.

The reason why our current expectations are so far above our current reality? Look no further than the man you're defending - he's quite possibly built the worst Celtic side in my lifetime.

I know some of you don't like Steve Clarke. But I think he is the just the sort of guy who could completely rebuild this Celtic team now in time for the next season's campaign, if we get shot off Deila this week.But needs to be before Christmas, get shot of Blackett, Boyata, Johansen, Rogic, Lustig, and Izzyguire

SD, spot on. I was looking at the players we had out tonight and thinking exactly the same. Part of me thinks that this is all part of the 'Corporate Plan'. We are not awash with funds to make a go of Europe and Dermot/Peter have given Ronny 2 years to take the flak and bring through a young Team. Make do with what we have. Make something out of 'Poundland Players', take the flak and wait for the likes of Christie, Allan, Henderson with Cole up front to come together next year. Wouldn't surprise me if Ronny is here for next year's CL Qualifiers, but wouldn't surprise me if he went tonight.

 

Steve Clarke? * it let's throw Sean Dyche and Steve Bruce into the mix then

 

If he does go this week, get the new guy in asap so he can look at the players and decide who is good enough before the January transfer window. That should give him half the season to try different formations to see which ones suit us before the next UCL campaign.

 

This is the problem.

where the * do we go from here?

It's not just the manager it's the whole system we have in place now, it's not working and we don't have another £10m player to bail us out and let us build a new team.

No £10m player, no CL... we have no * money to rectify this shambles.
