Going for Rodgers would be the first semblance of ambition shown by the board in a long time. Although I'm sure I heard he got a punditry job for 'Beinsports' last week.

Getting a bit worried we haven't heard about his sacking yet. Surely they wont bottle it?

    I don't mean you personally Minters :50:

I honestly don't think the coaching/management team can be blamed for individual errors like the ones we are seeing recently - it more or less sends the game plan oot the window when players * up.

You'll be worried for a fair bit of time then.

No chance he'll be getting sacked today.

There is zero chance Ronny will be getting sacked after last night. The only opportunity will be if we lose against Molde at home in 2 weeks, then it'll probably be 50/50.

The manager picked them, and he must take the derry for the line-up.

Although, there's not much to choose from I'm sure you'll agree with.

I agree. Unless things start going horribly wrong domestically, he'll be here for the season.

If he is still here tomorrow it will be a disgrace. What is it gonna take for us to cut this failure loose?

Exactly, the manager must take the derry for that and the style they were playing. Blackett played well on the weekend by all accounts, Tierney was very, very close to getting a place over Izzy as well.

Then there's the way you play them, they aren't ball playing centre backs, so don't play them that way.

It's very simple things that Ronny consistently doesn't see.

For the record though, I wanted Izzy to start. I was clearly wrong in that regard but we set up the defence wrongly, not just personell wise.

Unfortunately he will probably do the double playing * football and he will be kept on only for us to go out in the qualifiers next year. Bring in someone now who can spend in January.

I don't think sacking him this week will do us any good. The wise move would be to start looking at other alternatives and wait until we had a better option in place before doing anything. If he turns things around in the meantime we will still have the option to stick

Blaming the manager is the easy way out in my opinion, he is at fault for the tactics last night and several times but this is another game where we have conceded then seem as if we lose our confidence straight away and players go hiding. Team just as much to blame, Ronny said last night he set them out to be balanced yet we continually pushed the full backs up leaving us totally exposed at the back for counter attacks and on the same side Ronny should of known to change it at half time.

I'm in no way advocating that Deila and co have NO share of the blame for last night's performance, not in the slightest - but it irks me to see the ENTIRE blame laid at their feet when we have seasoned players with as much experience required to KNOW what their jobs are and what is required to win a football match go out on a football pitch and play with so much irresponsibility and * passion, consistently making individual errors so costly.....they are a shambles and honestly need kicked to * out.

Before the game, I 100% agreed with the defence put out - and I think Deila was happy to trust these players and their capabilities - now? changes are required - Tierney wouldn't be out of the team at LB, and hopefully Simunovic gets a run of games alongside Boyata - we need a proper defensive partnership - and I tell you what else that defence needs.........one of those two * playing in the 2 man holding role to drop deeper and help out - they do not do enough defensively.

We should have been looking since he botched the qualifiers for a third time in 12 months. Lambert, Rodgers, there is plenty of men out there. We need to act now to give our new boss the chance to have a few competitive European games under his belt in preparation for next years qualifiers. We can still qualify for * sake. This is as good as its gonna get under Ronny. He is a poor manager and shows no signs he will get better.

Blackett should have been starting over Ambrose. No question about that.
