Interesting you used the word 'grinding' to describe the sheep under McInnes and the dead club he used to play for, because you used the exact same word to describe what you would like us to be doing.

Do you admire the way the huns played? I * hated it to be honest. Nil nilled their way to a UEFA cup final, boring as * hacking ugly troglodytes.

Not as our default tactic no but a wee bitta grinding in Europe does no harm. If we could grind our way to the Europa I would let Ronny * * me :celt_2:

I would love to have seen McInnes in the Aberdeen dressing room before the game, wearing his life preserver saying how they should go out and prove they are champions and aw that..

This. I think og would like us to just annihilate completely every domestic team in our path and play super-uber safe in Europe when things aren't that simple and among other things it's completely unrealistic. Generally not many win silverware playing it too safe, you take risks to win, that's part of attacking football, surging forward leaving spaces that can be exploited if you concede possession, etc, etc. part of the excitement.
He, like most of us, probably enjoyed the first Inter game cus it was Inter in the knockout rounds of the EL, and it was brilliant but transplant that to the domestic league and change Inter to a decent Aberdeen or Hearts, maybe in a bit of a purple patch and I think he'd hate it. We draw but the game was brilliant, really exciting and both teams had their moments and overall deserved something, etc, etc. I don't think we're allowed to have games like that domestically in og's universe.
Any loss or even draw domestically is like a cardinal sin to him which is mad, we're going to get beat or draw now and then, * happens, some * that you can't legislate for at all but that doesn't matter to og apparently.

We mosey on along the road of improvement quite nicely at the moment with some issues, sure, but much more to be happy about than * off.

You couldn't make this * up. Your like a perma-nuts character from Twin Peaks.

"The owls are not what they seem..." Eh, og? :smiley-laughing002:
Is og shorthand code for Loglady? You trying to warn us about more than just our results in games? You'd think there was a portal to some hellish alternate dimension spilling off every page of Ronnies wee book of tactics the way you go on.

Twin Peaks was this really surreal, dark comedy TV show from the late 80s early 90s by David Lynch, really weird but funny...kind of like og. :smiley-laughing002:
