So many managers like that, Armstrong only came on since Forrest was struggling. Johansen should of been off around 60 mins. At least they will be ready for the Hamilton game :50:

A think he is leaving substitutions far too late not just in the game the other night but nearly every game we play. A think this is his biggest weakness which shows the lack of experience that he has. He is a young manager and learning everyday. Am sure that he will be a top manager with another couple of seasons under his belt. This team could be a very good young fit team in a year or two which a really think was the plan from the board when he was taken on.

Lennon was the same, as was WGS for leaving subs late.

A just think he has a lack of knowledge on how to change a game when needed.

You seem so sure of that. Is that pillow talk with Peter? You always say you hate him but maybe it's just to throw us off scent?

Seriously though, can you not wait until something happens before losing your * over it? You have been banging on all * week about Ronny getting the tin tack if we get beat at Hamilton. Why don't you actually look forward to the game and then lose your * if something bad happens.

Honest to * you are * relentless with the glass half empty pish.

It's not a lack of knowledge, as you said before it's experience, you can't know every situation that could happen, he knows the team best and what players to keep on or take off in his opinion. Even the best managers in the world struggle to make right changes in a game.

The issue with subs is a delicate one IMO. I remember at least 2 games this season alone when substitutions killed our momentum and slowed things down considerably while the replacements were feeling themselves into the game (4-2 vs Thistle at home stands out most). That's the other side of the coin and I think it just goes to show that changing the way a game is going can be a lot more complicated than just switching one player for another.

I know it's precisely his job to figure out how to shift momentum during a match, but I just wanted to point out there's much more to it and it might explain why so many managers seem reluctant to make early subs unless the game is done and dusted or someone is obviously struggling.

I'm feeling a bit better now tbh. I really dont want to see this team come under real pressure in the league and that's it.
