Jesus, we were down to 10 men after been punished with one of the worst decisions ever! Completely out of Ronnys control. We were 2 whiskers away from the treble then. Does that sound better? Regardless he had a good first season. This season has barely started domestically.

I know but my original point was the fact someone said we would lose the league having only lost 1 game.
For the CL side of things there is a collection of errors, not just his fault. As I've said before we need to work very hard to get in CL, * we were close to get knocked out by Karagandy then got royally pumped anyway in the CL in Lennons last season.
We can still do well in the EL, if we were in that group with Real, PSG and Shaktar then we would be getting * sideways away, maybe scrape a few results at home but no chance for Europe after Christmas. In EL we have a decent chance of progressing.

Nah, it's something I've been thinking about us for a good long while. Not just when it's going wrong for us either, even when it's going well we've rarely had the mentality to really put teams to the sword.

Agree with you. His decision not to come for the ball on Saturday was shocking. It has been launched in the box from not far in our half, and was going to bounce in our 6 yard box. He has to come and deal with that. He looks very suspect under a crossed ball now actually, something which I thought he looked comfortable with when he arrived.

There was one against Malmo he should have came for as well. It was his biggest positive over Fraser Forster really, he's still been making some amazing saves but he's not as commanding now.

Is it just no confidence in what's infront of him making him unsteady?

Something's gone wrong with our defensive coaching over the summer. It wasn't better with VVD either. Job no. 1 for Ronny, JK and JC now

Well I have doubts that we will 'pick up', and at least I have been consistent: I've never been a Deila fan.

So you want the el instead of cl football, * your either blind or stupid, perhaps both.
It's cl qualification and only that which can tempt a better calibre of player to come here, also the financial margins are huge, but go you ahead champ hope we get put out every year so we don't have to face the big guns.
    * clueless.

Dont worry Muldini whenever I raised pertinent questions about Ronny I may as well have said I molest goats, such was the response from the everything is great brigade.

There has been massive problems for ages. Be honest is there anybody out there who didnt see the Aberdeen result coming? A few heads on here seen it miles off. The major problem is that our manager did not. This is not a cosmetic problem either, this is a major major worry.

Personally, I was a tad worried when the mighty Qarabag bossed us over 2 games, despite us, ultimately, squeaking through.

Zero shots on target at Celtic Park.

    Pure bossed it.

You know what I mean. They passed us off the park. Twice! We SHOULD be disposing of these teams comfortably with our highly paid athletes.

They might have had more possession (I'm not sure they did) but that doesn't constitute bossing a game. I thought they were a decent possession side but in terms of creating chances and scoring goals they were useless. You will never win football games like that. We were totally comfortable in both legs and should have had a goal or two in the second.

Was easy to see why they had a lot of 0-0 and 1-0 results at home in Europe over the last couple of years.

After the amount of pish you've spouted on here :smiley-laughing002: * sake. Where did I say I'd rather EL than CL football? You're the clueless one, I'm looking at the positive side of that we could get a good run and get people excited rather than slating the team left right and centre. We need the money but that isn't going to better calibre of player, it hasn't for a long time, we buy players with potential sell on value.
Oh aye I want to see Celtic lose  you must be the * blind one man.

Aye they had more possession in both games and I still think the signs were there when we couldn't definitively put a team such as them to the sword......

At the time I put it to the back of my mind as we got through but the signs were there.

We aren't Real Madrid or Barcelona ffs:smiley-laughing002:

Our players might be paid more but the gap in quality isn't that big that we should simply turn up and 'dispose' of these sides 4 or 5 goals to nil.

Qarabag frustrated the likes of Inter last year and I'm sure beat Dnipro and Red Bull Salzburg.

    Their European record is good.

I agree with you on being worried about not puttin them to the sword but they are decent defensively and we missed some great chances late on in that game which would have made it look a lot more comfortable.

Even against Malmo we could have been 3-0 up inside 20 minutes. Johansen missed a great chance one on one with the keeper and if he scored that they are dead and buried. Think people are forgetting we actually played very well at home to Malmo in an attacking sense, we passed them off the park and the tempo we played at was great. The goals we conceded were absolutely shocking though.
