Something like that doesn't even need a replay though. Just have an official who's sitting upstairs and can review himself in a quick manner and call down to the center ref.

Nah, mate. It's been talked about for nearly 20 years and absolutely blatantly obvious for over a decade that video referees for these key decisions would improve the game. To still ignore this and instead sprinkle assistants around the field like confetti in a way that would bring a tear of joy to the late Heath Robinson's eye is more than mere incompetence.

Of course it will; not doing it is worse, though.

Aye, it was the obvious move.

Bit silly from oor Ron to be honest, a guy who hasn't played in 5 months. Even an out of position Griffiths would offer more.

If worst came to the worst as well, which it did, we could seamlessly slip into 2 upfront.

Wouldn't have made a difference today though. It didn't need a replay because everyone could see it was a penalty, referee included.

We were horribly exposed when they broke on that corner. Why the * was Matthews the only one back? Common sense to always have an extra player back for corners.

Because Izzy was staying on his man and then changed his mind and went for the ball (which he should have done in the first place).

If he made that decision from the off the break would never have happened.

Don't get me wrong, I completely agree. That was more of a hypothetical for the World Cup or something. McLean only had one idea when he stepped onto the pitch today.

I'll need to watch it again, thought it was very naive at the time.

Was a horrendous corner from Commons aswell, dont understand how a professional footballer cant hit in a good corner 9/10 times, it's not that difficult..

Without Armstrong and GMS in the squad, Henderson would have been a cert to play a part with his energy etc.

Sending him to the Rosenberg bench when we're chasing a treble, don't get it.

Henderson was not going to win us the treble. We suffered due to the ref today. We have done fairly well in Deilas first season where he is building a squad and settling into scottish football. As mentioned before next season is the real challenge :50:

There might be a silver lining to all of this. If Ronny had won a treble in his first season, he'd have set a very high bar for himself. *, Lennon is Celtic through and through and he left because there was nothing else for him to achieve here.

Aye, I know there's not really a silver lining... :54:

He could have made a difference today..rather than bringing on Tonev.

Could have maybe used the subs a bit better and quicker but the starting 11 was what most of us would have picked.

Was proud to see him trying to rally the troops at ET intervals
