You're right. I noticed a lot of similarities between Maribor last week and ourselves tonight. We were inviting them into our half and seemingly happy for them to have the ball at points. We started the game so brightly too.

The trouble was without a doubt in thr forward areas. Stokes cant lead the line and Berget is never a winger. Tonight could've been a different game had Tonev played amd we had signed a proper striker. Berget is an interesting one as he's obviously not been signed to play on the wing (proved by the signing of Tonev) so... What's Deilas plan?

Ill leave that there before i go off topic slightly but i really think we should play out the season and give deila the Europa League and re-evaluate later.

I am still really excited by ronny deila and what he's trying to do at the club, he needs time, look at brendan rodgers at Liverpool for example. He needs the time to recruit the players he wants and get his ideas across. And the board aren't stupid, they'll go out now and spend close to 10 million, just be patient...

The biggest issue was even though we set up cautiously, we still looked shaky, and gifted Maribor 3-4 sitters. In no manner are we able to defend. De-*-pressing.

lets be honest, if we set up to control the game and attack from the off, we'd have been had on the counter attack no problem at all, deilas tactics werent exactly as bad as some might think, if lustig didnt get injured, then we probably would have went through

I know mate, I'm simply reiterating my stance on Deila as manager of our club.

I probably shouldn't have quoted you directly.

I agree, but still, taking of Kayal and playing Ambrose at all...shockers. Also, during Neil's tenure, we at least knew how to defend deep. Lost that ability now.

We may have been picked of...we will never know for sure...but defending at home against (and i know i,m repeating myself) a pish poor team!

I,d have rather went out having a go rather than that set up.

Was pretty galling when he said we should have two signings in by Monday.

Two signings aren't going to fix this mess.

It also looks like we will lose van Djik, and no doubt he will be replaced by a cheap loan or mouyokolo esque signing.

yes ronni you read the internet you said - please go back to Norway & take your worthless Norwegian players with you - you seem like a nice guy- but you are just a "yes man" for Liewell -,this situation has nothing to do with you

i believe he has a way of playing and if backed it could be a great thing for celtic, but the fact he took the job and has not been backed means one thing, hes a yes man and happy to be here, why would any manager with a back bone settle for this, hes being hung out to dry, in his first few days he said i dont do loan signings i dont see the point in progressing other teams players, and since then we have signed 3 players on loan, not one permenant signing

You inherit a squad full of * with a few quality players, and is given absolutely * all to improve it bar 3 loan signings who haven't really done that, then it's easily explained how we've arrived at here tonight. Ronny shouldn't be totally absolved of blame, but there's a lot of people who should be shouldering it before him.

I just hope he's given a bit of time and money to build a squad that he's happy with. I really like the guy and like his ideas for the future.

The guy has got 2 excellent players in Van Dijk and Lustig, the rest are pretty * average if we're honest. We should still be beating that * Maribor, I think this guy will be gone by January unfortunately. I know he wants time to implement his wonderful football, but time is something you don't get in Scotland; Paul Le Guen.

He is being hung out to dry. I can see the board sacrificing him to weasel out of this, which is incredibly unfair on him because it's their * up. We really need to give Deila a chance.
