How the * is McGregor getting slagged off :smiley-laughing002: Only Celtic player who can honestly hold their head up high after this tie.

Playing one up front when we are chasing goals and you've got griffiths sitting on the bench?

Obviously the brilliant 4-3-1-2 or diamond formation, with the unbelievable holding midfielder Mulgrew, the world class Commons as the number 10 behind the bald * who are quite clearly Yorke + Cole 2:0.

You know that system that can beat the might of Dundee United, St Johnstone and Kilmarnock and therefore is obviously good enough to beat the champions of Poland (probably a higher quality than the SPFL currently).

People seriously need to wake up, even Lenny said last weeks result was coming for a long time because he felt those exact players and THAT exact system with those players wasn't good enough and he didn't feel that he'd have enough money to get a good enough squad in time.

I dont know what yous are seeing with McGregor, he does ok on the ball but he's doing little to nothing, tonight he kept standing still or coming back too close to Matthews.

Its no good getting on the ball and skinning a guy if you're not going to do anything. He also gets forced to turn back too much as he cant get away from people.

Griffiths would have been better on the right wing.

If Griffiths was put on the wing, you still would of complained about the tactics and claimed that he isn't a winger and should of been in the middle.

You are aware that he isn't a winger right ? He was the best option for tonight there but his best position is more central. He still did as well as you could expect though.

More strikers does not equal more goals.

The best(and only good) wing display of the season was Griffiths at home to Reykjavik.

    True

Aye im aware but he shouldnt be starting.

Playing two strikers would have made 0 bit of difference considering none of them can score.

Looks like it's going to be a baptism of fire for Ronny. Seems like he's had a look at what he's got and already knows it's not enough. The board on the other hand seem in no rush to get the wallet oot and give him new tools to work with.

If one of those two things doesn't change he'll find Glasgow can be an unforgiving place to cut your managerial teeth.

We could have played all the strikers we had available in a front 4/5 and still not have * scored with any of them. :smiley-laughing002:

For those who are in love.....
I've had this thought a few times but you watched a totally different game to me then tonight..
He was the ONLY player brave on the ball and not passing the buck, apart from Matthews couple of.bursts he was the only player successfully beating a man and turning and.creating space.. Infact it was him linking up with.Matthews in the first half when we had some joy ..

He is the last scapegoat tonight..

Bullshit. McGregor has played well every time he has started - and he's been playing on the wing.

I never watched the game I was at it, he was standing too close to Matthews throughout the game. He also goosed one of our best chances when Matthews was miles free and coming on a run and McGregor had just been passed the ball but turned the wrong way and lost it.

I agree he has done ok, on the ball, scored a couple and skinned a few players but overall he's the weakest player in the team, he's not enhancing the team he's making it harder for the players around him.

He's been playing ok not well, and ok by his standards. Not Celtic standards.

Could you imagine us playing McGregor on the win in the actual CL? he'd be way out his depth. So far he is not better than Jamie Smith.

I dont see what he is bringing to the team or understand why he is playing.

:smiley-laughing002: We shouldn't laugh but it's true, the funniest part is Commons scored 32 goals last season, just shows how bad out strikers are :52:
