You clearly have not got a clue my friend, and it's pointless trying to debate at all with you so I think it's better we agree to disagree cause I can't be arsed going back and forward on an Internet forum. :50:

I doubt Snodgrass can speak italian, but he might get confused by the glasgow accent and batter him thinking its italian

I doubt Delia would have much say in transfers.

He will be a head coach of sorts.

Pretending that being assistant to one of football's best managers at a time when they where at one of the best teams in the world doesn't help you become a good manager is stupid.

    Hilarious.

As i asked, what does knowing Scottish football (whatever that actually means in your world) have to do with us apparently playing well in Europe?

We will probably sign a few players from Norway (or was Johansen a sort of pre-cursor to Deila like Vieira and Wenger?).

Have we ever played the same as other Scottish teams even with a home based manager?

Some amount of guff being spouted from both sides of this daft argument.

    queiroz?

    mike phelan?

assistants for a reason, simply because they studied under someone doesnt necessarily mean they will be a successful manager, why is that so hard to grasp?

Barca is different though, you really can only play one way against them and they were so vulnerable to our physical presence. Not demeaning the performance, but it isn't a tactic that is likely to work so effectively against any of the other top teams. I enjoyed the wins, but I am realistic enough to see that we won't play teams as bad as Spartak were in the group stages again unless we get to be third seeds.

Personally, I thought Lennon's teams were too side-to-side with their passing and that hurts us in Europe because we either lose the ball when pressed or, as Juve did, teams sit back and pick us off when we over-extend ourselves. Also, just generally, watching Celtic in SPL was difficult for a lot of the last season.

As for the bolded part, I understand. I think everyone is just bored now and wanting to move on. I wouldn't have minded Keane but onlybecause I thought it was him, Coyle or McKay, but someone who tries to play football in a more aggressive and productive way is exciting. Celtic have just looked so lackadaisical at times in the last couple of seasons.

I don't actually think the poster knows himself what he actually means by this phrase he insists on using. Taking a punt here but I reckon he has just heard or read someone else saying it and went along with it. The stuff about our previous managers knowing Scottish football and how this served us well in Europe is just bizzare!
