There will always be unhappy fans no matter who we hire. What one person likes is what another doesn't.

I for one am happy if he is to be our new manager. Exciting times ahead.

Can't say I've ever heard of this guy but interested and quite a bit excited to see the different direction he can take the club.

Nielsen has attracted controversy at various times in his career for falling into serious gambling debt, assaulting a team mate and then, in November 2008, admitting matchfixing in a Danish game played in 2004.

n February 2005, Nielsen was sacked by AaB when he physically attacked team-mate Allan Gaarde during a training session, leaving him with a concussion.[9] Nielsen later explained in his autobiography that Gaarde was "pretentious... talking loudly about wine in Italian. "I told him: 'The next time you speak Italian I will break you in half. You're not f***ing Italian – you spent eight months there.' So when he did it again I decided to break his * legs like sticks. I jumped at him and bang. Jackpot. Felt good." :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002:

You can bring up getting humped with Juve and not talk about the groups beating Barca and getting an away win as well, I take it because it was that atrocious you must have hated our wins with that atrocious style.

We lost the spine of our side and did not replace them last season that was a major factor with us in Europe and we invested in the wrong players, apart from VVD but he was to partner Wilson that's what Lennon said ore season before Wilson asked to leave.

Now what ever happens we will see change but like I said my only concern is he does to know our game,I would welcome him before the likes of Keane and some others who we have been linked with. But for some if you say one concern they seem to jump down your throat, not saying you btw pal just some on here.

The best way to look at this potential appointment is that he is already vastly more experienced as a manager than Lennon was when he was appointed in 2010.

Deila will also bring a different, more 'European style' of football to us, as opposed to the 'British style' that we have become accustomed to at Celtic in the last few years.

Yes I know you said that and I am asking you what does knowing Scottish football (whatever that actually means in your world) have to do with us apparently playing well in Europe?

Not sure I can as I genuinely have no idea what you mean by this given that you are suggesting that Carlo Ancellotti knows about our game here very well by virtue of managing a side against us a few times in Europe! Presumably, based on this, then watching a few videos of us against other SPFL teams is all that it takes.

Obviously the question I asked you went way over your head. Not really a surprise given your initial and then subsequent comments.

The most disappointing thing about this is Snodgrass...I was looking forward to him signing under Lennon - seemed highly likely but not now. :54:

The idea of at least one trophy a season and CL football should appeal to any player, especially one currently plying his trade at * Norwich :smiley-laughing002:

Snoddy could still be ours for about £2.5m-£3m, regardless of manager.
