Interesting, no * about with him then.

You can kind of tell what kind of manager he is just by watching Johansen bomb about the park. Fully committed to everything he does on the park, engine.

Apparently Deila is the guy who made Stefan the player he is right now, he will only continue to improve if he is appointed manager as well.

I would caution caution on this Ronny Daila link. We can't afford another serious mistake in appointing the wrong manager to take us forward.Daila is a shallow candidate as far as I am concerned, a relatively unknown quantity with limited experience in the game, he certainly dozen't possess the resume and background experience of Steve Clarke.

This new name going about has taken me aback.. Had no idea Celtic would actively pursue such a target, but I must say, am a wee bit excited about this..

Such nonsensical posting almost 5,500 posts and we are still at base camp in so far . We are so quick to jump on prospective new managers that we will soon have run out of names
It seems we have ran out of names of prospective candidates from these islands , so now we have gone to Norway . In the meantime DD and P Lawwell are rubbing their hands with the number of people who have renewed or bought season tickets with every clamour over some name or other excited fans whose favourite was mentioned .

Give it a rest. What is wrong with people speculating and getting excited?

If you offered me Michael Laudrup or Ronny Deila right now, from what I've heard, Id pick Deila every day of the week. I'm excited.

Excited by this guy the fact he came from nowhere must have the bookies delighted as well, strikes me as the kind of manager who won't be afraid to go on the attack in Europe and that's what we need no fear, some home record as well so hopefully he make Paradise a fortress too

Why bother posting in here then? If it annoys you so much, stay out the thread. Simple. The title should give a clue as to it's content. That wee squiggly line with the dot under it - this one '?' - it's a question mark. It invites responses.

Why are people so adverse to taking risks?

Now is the time to take risks, we have no domestic challenge. People saying we took a risk with Mowbray, and how that failed. So? Should we only appoint ex players now. Even looking there at the BBC report, why oh why in the name of * do people only want 'Celtic Men'. Its boring, and mundane as *.

Regarding taking a risk too...We took a risk with Wim Jansen too. Who the * was he ahe?

Clarke may have more experience at the highest level but in terms of managerial experience and being the main guy in charge of the squad, Deila tops him on that. In 6 years at Stromsgodset he has completely changed the fortunes of the club and won the league with 10% of the budget Rosenborg had. Clarke has had 1 year of being the main man.

Our last serious mistake was Mowbray and if I remember correctly he could be classed as being 'experienced'.

As much as I like Stevie Clarke, he seems a bit, well, boring as *. I'd rather we took a risk now when the league and competition in this country is at it's most boring stage every arguably.
