It's a combination of potential with Deila and lack of it with the other names.

 

So this ronny is on 120 grand a year and has two left..

Is is as straight forward as only having to pay 240 grand for the clubs compensation?

If so, i can't see that being problem whatsoever..

Exactly we could buy out his remaining contract for around 300K. At the same time if he is indeed on 120k a year we could triple his wages and still be on slightly less than lenny was.

Good steady progress with his current club. Excited isn't a word I would use if he signed.

I do like Scandinavian links to Celtic. It's so often overlooked. I would hope he knows of some hidden gems up there.

OGS won Molde their first ever league trophies and are traditionally a yoyo-side.

Looks like the most Molde ever paid for someone is £800,000 in OGS time there, hardly Man City considering they have won two titles and played in Europe.

 

Well if this guy is as good as the reports coming in say, then this does seem like minimul risk and pennies in foorball terms..

A good deal for a young hot shot manager it has to be said..

Not really a yoyo-side - when they have won the league in 2011 and 2012 and been runners up in: 1995, 1998, 1999, 2002 and 2009 (recent years).

They have also won the Norwegian cup in: 1994, 2005 and 2013 and runners up in 2009.

They are widely reported to have paid £1.4m for Vegard Forren to come back from Southampton - which is a Tippeligaen transfer record.

Molde are a far greater side and much more financially prosperous side than Strømsgodset IF.

Deila has worked wonders and has an eye for talent.

 

Indeed. This guy isn't the source of inspiration many are claiming he is.

Why take the risk on a Mowbray style appointment like this Deila guy, when have Coyle or Peter Houstin there who will consolidate things.
